Scan card? No option to do so

We built our hydraulic lift, and although the kid is super awesome, the card cannot be scanned. There’s no option to do so.

When I am doing a Lesson I can’t scan my card but everything else is ok.

Everything is black, in usable app with update

We updated for the gyroscope and everything is black in both AR and 3D mode, ,a,ing the app completely unusable.
Running an iPad mini, App Store says it should work on this iPad.
