App won’t sign in after update

The app will not let me sign in (saying my password and membership numbers don’t match) and asks me to reset my password. The cloud says they’re aware of the issue for some members and are working on it. I’ve been waiting 4 days to log in and still nothing…..

Ticketek Integration

On the app, I have signed in to both my MCC and Ticketek. After clicking “Book Now” within an event, I am taken to the Ticketek site to enter my MCC barcode. This is ridiculous given that I am trying to buy tickets from within the MCC app where I have already signed in. I also cannot find an easy way to copy my barcode from within the app. Feels like basic functionality is missing. If it sounds like I’m doing something wrong, please let me know. Thanks.

Very annoying “Can’t access camera” bug

The MCC forces you to accept provisional membership only via this app, but the damn thing doesn’t work! Complete waste of time! Please fix previously reported bug.

Camera doesn’t work so can’t create membership

App doesn’t allow me to use my camera to take a photo of drivers license and no where does it give you an option to allow camera access.

ID verification doesn’t work

Wasted half an hour on this trying every which way in vain. Now it seems I’ll have to go to the post office. Not a great introduction to the MCC.

Mjuat stop working and asks for password and Apple ID for an email that is incorrect. So not useable anymore

No camera permission requested

Downloaded the app to update my photo but the verification process aborts as the app does not ask for permission to use camera/photos, either via a dialogue box or via the settings menu. Pls fix!

Faulty

App doesn’t have my barcode, defaults to ‘it’s time to update photo’ when I already have. Contacted club, said it would be fixed within 15 mins. 3 days later…

Can’t use it

When I log into the app it prompts me to accept my membership and then pay a fee of $0. When I press submit payment it doesn’t do anything.

Needs a copy function

I love having the app. I understand not able to screenshot your card information. However it needs to to have a copy button for the barcode and member number for sending to friends when booking reserved seats as a group or dining reservations.

Don’t know what my membership number is and can’t be bothered finding it. Just let me use my email it’s not that hard.

Hi James, thanks for your review and feedback. Please contact the Club and one of our representatives will be able to assist you through the process. Your email address cannot be used as a login username as we allow members and waiting list candidates to share an email address for Club related communications. Your member/file number is a unique number assigned when you join the waiting list making it the most appropriate login username option to use for these types of services. Doesn’t request camera permission

App requires upload of drivers license and a selfie to verify ID, but doesn’t request permission to use Camera.
Unable to grant camera permission from Settings -> Privacy as MCC doesn’t appear on the list.
Fix this bug as making interstate members go into a Post Office due to not accepting email ID isn’t appropriate.

MCC Plus login

App is good now adding MCC Plus via Apple Pay. Still need to login to MCC Plus every time you open the app with no login details remembered, quite frustrating. Should incorporate Face ID for MCC Plus login

Not working

I’ve deleted and reinstalled this app a number of times on MCC advice. I submit info which disappears and is not visible at MCC end. Would not recommend.

App is good but Apple Wallet Support would be fantastic.

I've looked into it and the provider of the prepaid eftpos cards that the MCC uses does support Apple wallet, but it has not been implemented. The membership card should be on Apple wallet too, much easier to use. Other app functionally works well, but the mcc plus top up page loading a webpage is quite clunky.

The Club launched the ability to add your MCC Plus card to your Apple and/or Google Wallet in December 2022 along with improvements to the MCC Plus section of the app. The ability to add your MCC Plus card to your digital wallet wasn't able to be included at the same time as the MCC app launch unfortunately but is available now for you to use. Needs improvement

What’s is the point of an app that redirects you to the website for bookings. Surely you must of thought this through and deemed it required functionality. Also why is the app not populated with current info and availability? What a flop. Can you please explain what the app does?

Hi JDR SEEDS, thanks for the review and feedback regarding the ability to submit bookings via the MCC app. The initial versions of the app were released to improve some of the Clubs operational processes that were pain points for members, particularly for new members joining the Club and those who need to update their photo as well as improving access to the MCC Plus program. Some functionality from the MCC website has been utilised from within the app to ensure a consistent process, single sign on functionality was improved in late 2022 to make this as seemless as possible for our members. I love it

I have been an MCC member since 2022 and I just love the app great features on the app and it’s really easy to use and thank you so much Melbourne cricket club for making this app.
