User reviews

Good application

This app is actually pretty good for hard surface modeling but the only issue i have is that my ipad 9th gen gets a little hot even when modeling light stuff
I hope it gets an optimization in the future

Blender-ish

Blender Editor Lite basically. Subscription options are just ridiculous. This is an $8 app at best. Sub needed just to import .glb etc? lol nice try guy. The symmetry options are broken.

This app is so promising, please please please try it

I’ve tried SO many 3D apps to replace a blender workflow on my iPad, many of which are premium price, and this app blows them out of the water entirely by the amount of features packed into one lightweight app. I cannot believe there’s even UV editing in this app, this is heaven sent, this looks like it’ll be the all-in-one modeling app I’ve been looking for. There’s so much detail packed into one app, and useful tools you wouldn’t normally see in other 3D modeling apps like seam markers, edge/vertex/face dissolving and edge loop bridging. You can paint directly on your models too in the UV editor, which is AMAZING. There’s so much to unpack here, and I’ve only scratched the surface of it. My recommendation to the developer is to add more documentation, which I’m sure they will, but I’m also looking forward to implementation of modifiers if not already included. A mirror modifier is def needed if not already included. Give this app a shot! I look forward to seeing it grow!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! Modifiers such as mirror and thickness are included in Meld under the blue wrench icon on the left-side tab. I definitely agree that I need to improve the documentation and make features like this easier to discover. Thank you again for taking the time to try Meld and leave such a detailed review!
