App does not work

I wanted to start to learn slowly, so I picked the learning path specifically for that and the first two segments of the app were fine and the second two never let me say the second phrase in either of them.

Response from developer

Thanks for reporting this and sorry for the frustration! We've fixed this issue in the latest version. Please update the app and give it another try.

Not worth it

You can’t adjust the level and they make you pay without seeing this

Response from developer

Sorry, you're right that this should have been clearer before purchase. I'm a solo developer still figuring out the best onboarding flow, and I've now switched the app back to a 7-day free trial so people can try it first. I'm also working on better level controls. Music is a LOVELY way to learn!

Music is a really good way to learn- I use music to teach my students with special needs and I LOVE that a language app is using music to teach a new language, too. It really helps the brain memorize new words in a way you can’t while just reading or hearing a spoken word by itself. The songs are very well-made, and I think $50 is a reasonable amount to unlock all lessons.
Some suggestions- can there be a placement quiz? I know a lot of Spanish already and would like to jump ahead to more advanced lessons to see if they are helpful. For example, does the app cover grammar like past or future tenses? Also, during quiz mode can the choices be read aloud? That way you are reinforcing learning of new vocabulary words that were presented, by modeling the correct pronunciation. As an auditory learner, this would be very helpful.
This is app is such a great idea, and I REALLY hope you offer this app in other languages too. I would especially love one in GREEK, and in JAPANESE, next!

Muchas gracias!

Thank you so much, really means a lot! Love that you use music with your students too. Right now we focus more on vocabulary and expressions, but teaching tenses through songs is definitely planned. Placement quiz and reading quiz choices sounds like great ideas, adding them to the roadmap! ¡Gracias! 😄
