About
The melon is cut. The rind is off. Now get it all into the box.
HOW YOU PLAY
Three pieces wait along the top. Take any one of them.
1. Drag it against the others until it touches. That is how you pack tight. First piece in an empty box? Put it in a corner, or along a wall.
2. Tap a piece and rings appear on its corners. Drag a ring to spin it. Two fingers work too.
3. Pack tight and you score more. The less air you leave in the box, the higher your score.
Take as long as you like.
PUT IT ANYWHERE YOU LIKE
Your piece always lands. It settles on top of the others and casts a little shadow. The shadow means it is still on top. Give it a push and, plop, it is in. Your hand feels the difference.
EVERY PIECE STAYS
Fill the box and a new layer starts on top. Everything you packed still shows through underneath. A piece still resting on top comes up with you and carries on in the new layer.
A NEW MELON EVERY BOX
Finish a box and the next watermelon is a different color. Red, yellow, orange, green, cream. Then all five at once.
ONE THUMB IS ENOUGH
Every corner of a piece is a handle. Drag one and the piece turns under your thumb. Two fingers work too, if you like that better.
IT SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE
Fifteen languages. Pick one inside the game. Your phone can stay the way it is.
Your game saves itself. Open it and you are back where you left off.

Now called Melontris. The melon was always in the game — now it is in the name too. Placing a piece feels different from resting one on top. A piece that seats gives a click; one that lands on its neighbours gives a soft thud. Your hand can tell them apart without looking, which is the whole point of the shadow on screen.
