A Good Concept with Terrible Execution
This app has potential, but its execution is deeply flawed. Both the iOS and web apps are riddled with bugs and usability issues.
iOS App Issues:
•Third-party login is unreliable – Requires multiple attempts to authorize.
•No Apple login support.
•Login page conflicts with Apple’s auto-fill – The app seems to treat login as a sign-up page, leading to confusion.
•Severe bug during video calls – Switching between front and rear cameras causes the phone to vibrate continuously.
•Outdated and inconsistent design.
•Poor navigation – Requires unnecessary clicks to return to previous screens.
•Swipe gestures do not work.
•Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode lacks controls – No way to perform basic actions while in PiP.
•Mute function is unreliable.
Web App Issues:
•Outdated design – Still follows 2015 design standards.
•No accessibility features.
•Broken user journeys – Encountered at least four dead ends in navigation.
•Disjointed user flow.
•No call or message notifications – Even when actively using the app.
•Unreliable calling – Calls randomly drop, and sometimes calls don’t go through at all.
•Slow whiteboard performance.
•Cannot play local videos – Only supports online video links.
Serious Security Concerns:
The biggest issue is that this app does not follow basic security standards. During sign-up, I verified that my password was stored without secure encryption, meaning anyone with access to their servers could view it. This also suggests that all user data, including messages and files, might be easily accessible to the app developers.
Because of these major security flaws, I cannot trust or recommend this app. Until they implement proper encryption and security measures, I won’t be using it.
