Mitsubishi is terrible at making controls and even worse at making apps
At least things are changing now with the new comfort app, but the overall user interface and experience of ALL Mitsubishi controls is poor at best, with this app being bested by only the old kumo cloud app, and the maintenance tool program as the worst of the worst.
Poor app
Make it possible to save the device password. You need to enter the password every time. Otherwise it is useless. …
Unreliable
It’s hit and miss as to whether the app can connect with the thermostat/controller or whether it will be forever ‘searching’.
hard to use
user experience is soooooo bad… how can I know which Bluetooth hex-digits represents which one of my air conditioner?
It lackes so many other features, such like timer function etc…

Pitiful interface
Absolutely dreadful UX. Truly one for the books.
Surprisingly reliable app. Strange thermostat behavior.
I moved into a condo building and have a PAR-CT01 thermostat. This app actually works better than I would’ve thought. But I can’t understand why when I switch from Cool to Heat mode (e.g. at night), the ambient/inside temperature changes instantly and never seems to readjust. Example: you have unit set to cool at 73F. Inside temp in top right of app and thermostat shows 73F. Then you switch to heat mode. The set point in middle of screen drops to 68F for example, the last remembered set point from last time it was on heat mode. But suddenly the ambient temp in top right also drops, to 69F or something. I’ve had this happen multiple times and it makes no sense. Changing modes doesn’t make the temperature inside my home instantly drop by 4 degrees. 🧐
