About
Memo turns a spoken thought into a written journal entry.
Tap once, speak freely, and Memo transcribes what you said and writes it up as a clean entry. It is built for walking, driving, or any moment when talking is easier than typing.
YOUR WORDS STAY YOURS
Recording and transcription happen entirely on your iPhone. Your audio is never uploaded. Entries are saved as plain Markdown files in a folder you choose, so they are readable anywhere and outlive the app.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Memo writes your entry using Apple on-device intelligence, so nothing leaves the device at all. If you would rather use a cloud model, you can connect your own API key for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, or OpenRouter. Even then only the text transcript is sent, never your voice.
NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING
There is no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no Memo server. Nothing to subscribe to.
WHAT YOU GET
