AMAZING IDEA - decent beta version

This is a gem of a tool for homeschooling families. Memory Mentor takes what can often feel like a laborious task and makes memory work far simpler to manage and consistently incorporate into daily life.

I love that you can add many different types of content to your library: YouTube videos (without ads!), picture-to-text, audio, and more. Once everything is entered, the app organizes memory work for you on customizable schedules like daily, weekly, every other day, monthly, etc. That feature alone has helped our family stay far more consistent.

As with any tool like this, there is some upfront setup required. You’ll want to set aside time to add the material you want your family to memorize, but once it’s in the system, it becomes incredibly convenient to use.

At this stage, I would still consider this somewhat of a beta version. There are definitely kinks and usability issues to work through, particularly with the desktop experience. However, the idea behind this app is phenomenal, and the potential is enormous if development continues and refinement is prioritized.

I’m leaving this review because I genuinely hope they continue investing in and improving it. It has the potential to become an indispensable homeschool tool. Five stars for the vision and concept, and currently closer to three stars for the app’s development and functionality today.

Very user-unfriendly

Not an intuitive interface at all. Hard to figure out how to add things, trying to make only a section of the file play is cumbersome and doesn’t always work, can’t figure out how to set up the app to be what I want. Sometimes items won’t play, or they play when I don’t want them to, and I HATE that if I’m listening to something and I close the app, the item KEEPS PLAYING!!! Closing app should CLOSE the app!
Good idea but needs a ton of improvement.
