problems with sound

Unfortunately, sound doesn’t work in Anki cards in new version, shows error instead of playing(( iOS Version: 15.3.1 App Version: 6.0.0 (609)

Great free option for anki decks

Loving this app! If you could please add the ability to delete certain cards within a deck and edit cards that would be amazing!

Thank you so much for your kind words—we’re really glad you’re enjoying the app! Great news: in version 3.0, we’ve added the ability to delete cards directly from the card viewer. You can also now edit decks, notes, and templates by swiping right on a deck (or tapping the edit icon on the deck logo if you’re using an iPad). We truly appreciate your feedback—it helps us keep improving!

still freezes

unfortunately, after the updates the problem with freezing is still there. Though it doesn’t appear when you’re uploading the deck, but when you just trying to open the cards themselves and start learning. Apparently this issue is only on iPhones, on my iPad it works perfectly. I hope soon you’ll fix this so I can learn on the phone too 🙏

We’re aware that this freezing issue may still occur on some iPhones when opening cards to start learning, even though it works well on iPad. We’ve made further stability improvements in our most recent version (2.0.1). Please try updating to this version, and we hope it allows you to learn smoothly on your phone as well. Still freezes as of 12/22/25

When loading flash cards, the app crashes even after several attempts to fix by developers. Best to hold off for now

Nonfunctional

My heart soared when I was actually able to import actual Anki decks! My bile churned when attempting to open any of those decks would instantly cause the app to freeze forever. I solemnly trudge back to ankiuser.net like the rest of the peasants.

(For reference, the two decks attempted were Kaishi 1.5k and Core 2.3k version 3, both for Japanese)
