Great App!
I’ve been using Mental Note for many years and I can say that there are no other note apps that compare to it. So many great features but the app is also not over-crowded or complicated at all. Very easy to use. In all the years I’ve had the app, I only ever ran into one small problem with an update, and support very quickly fixed the issue completely. In these times, when good customer service is very very rare, it was so refreshing and surprising when I had such a smooth and helpful experience with support. Genuinely shocked me. Get this app because it’s great, period. But also get it because the people at Zymbiotic Technologies are great. I couldn’t be more impressed with this app and the people who run it.

Great 4 Jotting
I’ve been using Mental Note for years ever since iPhone came to Verizon. I like the interface better than the Notes app that’s preinstalled.
In Mental Note, you can jot down a note, give it a title, assign a tab to it (for organization grouping), password protect, put a image in the note or record a soundbite, backup and restore all your notes, and you can assign tab colors. You also have the option of changing typefaces and their size for readability.
I don’t think it has sync functionality, so if you have multiple phones or devices the only way to make sure both have the same Mental Note info is to backup and restore — always use the same device to add notes and then backup, and then restore on the other devices that way you don’t accidentally overwrite the correct file.
You have options on how to and where to store the backup file and I use iCloud and Dropbox.
Of all the years I’ve been using Mental Note, I only had to restart my phone twice (different times) when the app wasn’t responsive otherwise I has worked like a charm. Love it!

Doesn’t do copy cut n paste
Wants to delete! Notes made during church saved but as leaving mtg…. All gone!

A job well done
I generally dread customer service experiences but my recent experience was quite different. The customer service rep was totally user friendly, stuck with me through several email exchanges well into the evening. Needless to say they ultimately uncovered and fixed the issue, after getting a little bit more information from me.

Update for keyboard
Is there a chance we could get an update to allow for the default keyboard? I’m on an iPhone and I use the smaller keyboard on the right side, but the app defaults to full and doesn’t let me change the keyboard.
Otherwise, great app. I highly recommend. Has been awhile since last update, but continues to function. Thanks developers!

Excellent app & Support
I have been using this app for many years and it has ended up being my favorite app for creating various types of notes all in one place. The developers are very responsive and helpful to any inquiries which greatly increases the apps value. (I've had other apps I had to ditch because of lack of support making them useless)
Being an "app junkie" where I enjoy trying various apps via the freebie websites, I've yet to come across another one that has the features of this one. An app with these features and keeping your notes all in one place is what fits my needs.

What an amazing app!
I am totally impressed with the functionality of this app. I use it daily. It helps me organize my work, my leisure and family life. It has been very well designed and created. Keep up with the great work.
Original colour lost in new update
Please give me back my original colour scheme. I cannot find any settings to put back to what was a very nice colour. The dark scheme doesn’t even have enough contrast for my 50 year old eyes

Love this app, and I have tons of notes on it. PLEASE UPDATE THIS APP! Ever since the new IOS/your last update, my app doesn’t open, no matter what I try. I have so many notes not backed up so I can’t just delete and reinstall without losing all my data. PLEASE update this app ASAP! Great tool with all the best features 100% would recommend

Dream Come True
If I was to say hey programmer I would really like XY and Z in a note at this is what they want to come up with. Being a musician perfect for editing , ideas, and audio examples so I don't forget melodies.
Tricked me to buy again !
I had a full version of mental note for years. Recently it was not updating. When I changed my phone the app was not showing up at all. As I liked the app I had to buy it again from the App Store ! If it happens again I will be looking at other options.
Newest release caused more bugs
I have an iPhone 5 and I just updated to the newest version and now it's not working properly
Great note taking tool
I bought this app for multiple uses, dream journaling, journal ideas, note taking and study note taking. Having the ability to draw and use audio in a journal has been invaluable for me! Music writing has been much easier when you have a moment of inspiration, record it quickly to capture the idea and then send that note to your email address and develop it further. Brilliant app and well worth the buy!

Please add automatic sync between devices (iPhone and iPad, for example), without use backup key.
