Simple, fast, free, stable

-It helps me make concept maps faster that I could by hand, and rearrange them as needed. -Allows export to PDF
-Free with no ads or withheld features
-Simple interface = swift learning curve
-No limit to page size: page adjusts in size as the map expands

It works great!

I've been trying to find a way to make my written concept maps and flowcharts look more professional and this app has made it possible. It's a lot simpler and easier to use than all the other apps I've been trying.

No color-coding.

I thought this app would work well for the concept map I was making. The app allows cross-linking and the entry in the App Store described how many colors were available. What it didn't advertise was that it only allows one color scheme for all the bubbles. The app does not enable color-coding. This rendered it useless for my purposes.

Very simplistic

The app is very simplistic. It worked fine for me, but it relies only on the taps for EVERYTHING in the interface. It gets annoying.
Also allows only 1 type of shape and 1 type of connections. It is supporting hyperlinks, which is nice.
It should be good for mind map for the person, who feels overwhelmed by gestures. It feels like mouse controled.

Excellent but missing some key fetures

This, with out doubt, is one of my favorite apps to use for college work, especially science related because it lets me organize everything and makes it so much easier to study. While using this app I've notice some key features have been missing, like: an undo or redo option, the unnecessary ability to write everything you write with a capital letter at the beginning of every word, and sometimes I don't need a verb on the connecting line and the space that is left annoys me and it looks uncompleted. Also I would like if you would put an option for a large text box, that would be nice also.

Overall a very useful app for college and has let me organize science related material very easy to understand and study. Thank you

Exactly what I needed!

Thank you so much for this app! For the longest time, I've been looking for a concept mapper app that doesn't fill in the links for you, but instead allows you to create concept bubbles then put them together as you see fit. This does exactly that.

One suggestion: please include some way to "align" the map so we can tidy things up.

Cmaps for iPad

I have been looking for an app that can allow students to generate and edit concept maps similar to the program Cmaps. This is fantastic! Thank you and please continue with the development.

Knowledge mapping

This is the only app I found that allows you to represent knowledge in its triplet form which is concept>relationship>concept where relationship is a label or verb connecting the two concepts. It is useful to be able to visualize these triplets for the semantic web or other knowledge based applications. I hope to see this app develop, retaining its introductory free form but with in app purchases for more advanced features such a exporting to RDF.

Simple and effective mapping

Downloaded this to get some concept mapping capabilities on my iPad. The app has very few features, but is simple, straightforward, incredibly easy to use, and so far seems to be very reliable.

The export feature is fantastic, and the price (or lack thereof) can't be beat.

Would like to see ability to change colors of individual nodes, links, etc. otherwise, this app is nearly perfect.

Good- but need ability to change individual colors

Please update to give the ability to change colors of individual bubbles. Otherwise great app

Simple and effective

Zero learning curve, and putting it to good, effective use. The developer is clearly wise in knowing what features to launch with, and this wisdom will hopefully shine in future updates.

I would like to see store to Evernote, but not critical.

Also, would like comment shapes with dashed or dotted connectors (as in UML comments).

Great wok.

Great app

Although there are some interface changes that could be made, this app works absolutely wonderfully. While some upgrades that would allow using different colors or shapes would be nice, this app lets you easily create a concept map that can easily be understood by others.

Kudos!

Good start but could use refinement

Not a bad first crack. It is admirably simple and let's you focus on just making the map without too many distracting features.

But could use interface refinements to make it better. Why not a double tap to create a new concept instead of having to hit the add button at the top of the screen? The linking feature was a bit hard to figure out at first. Would also be nice to customize the links so that they could be curved and not just straight. And ability to select multiple elements of the map and move in unison would help in rearranging large maps.

Export: dev has made progress here and added vector-based PDF export which is an improvement from raw image export. Basically, now you can copy text and do lossless zooming on exported PDFs.
It would still be nice to see if export could be offered for mind mapping formats that could maybe be used to make exported files compatible with other software.

Would also be good to have the option of no labels for connections.
