• Practice drills now meet you where you are. An easier sentence arrives as a scaffold — the frame is already in place and you tap tiles to fill the gaps instead of typing the whole thing — and the drills climb toward full typing as you clear them. Getting one wrong marks the gaps so you can rearrange, rather than starting the sentence over. • A practice sitting is measured by what you earn, not by a count of three. Each drill you clear is worth an amount that reflects how hard it was, a bar fills as you go, and anything left over carries into your next sitting. A sitting can end early with what it earned — it can no longer be failed. • The first practice session with a new word or grammar pattern is always a scaffold. However far along you are, you meet something new as a frame to fill rather than a blank field — capped at the hardest scaffold, never dropped to the easiest. • Drills now ask for the sentence a native speaker would actually say. Naturalness joins comprehension and correctness in deciding whether you move on. It still has no say in your review schedule, which reads correctness alone — and Move on is always there if you would rather not keep trying. • Finishing a practice sitting counts however you leave it. Taking one to the end, reading “Practice complete” and pressing Done at the top of the screen used to bank nothing at all — your score, your passes and the session's progress were reported by the “Next word” button alone, so leaving any other way quietly lost them. • A finished practice sitting no longer offers to move on. The pill stayed on screen beside “Go again” and “Next word”, and pressing it in the moment before the completion card appeared started another drill after your result had already been counted. • “Start Practicing” now opens exactly that word's, or that pattern's, practice queue. On a word it used to admit the word and then serve every pinyin card you had due behind it, so a sitting named after one word became an ordinary review a few cards in. On a grammar pattern it erred the other way and served that one pattern and stopped. • Fixed a crash when closing a sheet you had scrolled. • The session write-up banner leaves on its own after ten seconds, and you can now flick it away sideways as well as down. The countdown pauses while your finger is on it or the app is in the background. • Your deck's due badge names the track it means, in that track's own colour, and now watches all four. It summarised hanzi and pinyin only, on two different clocks, without saying which — so a word due for listening showed you its pinyin date, and a deck full of red could mean nothing you were about to be asked. • The grammar library's pull-to-refresh spinner follows your pull instead of appearing on its own, where it could hang with the list held open. • Audio holds its session between clips. It was torn down and rebuilt after every single one, so on AirPlay or Bluetooth the route was rebuilding between every two words. • Face ID no longer asks you twice on a cold start. Opening the app dropped you onto the sign-in screen and made you unlock again, every single time, because the first session check ran before your stored credential was ready to be read.
