Dead App
This app needs to be taken down. Designer has ghosted. No updates to app. It’s own Mastodon account has not posted anything since 2021. I discovered all this after realizing NOTHING about the schedule feature option worked. I’d schedule days or hours in advance-and my posts would still appear instantly. The schedule feature is exactly what I chose this app for, and when I looked for troubleshooting help is when I discovered nothing here has been touched in months and months. Apple, please yank this thing. Designer - thanks for wasting - and wasting - my time. Infuriating!

Works well, but needs work.
This app is very good functionally, but one thing I noticed is that pinned toots don’t get put at the top of the toots view for profiles. And the app is overall not organized too well, it definitely needs improvement there.
Great app! Development appears to have stopped.
I really love Mercury. Since I started using Mastodon I’ve been trying all of the clients. There about 3 that are top notch, not including Mastodon’s own client. I hope that the developer picks back up with the app now that so many Twitter migrants desperately need one. 🙏🖖
Appears to be perfectly accessible with voiceover
Hey, what can I say. I am new here. Less than 12 hours. But I can tell you I can swipe up to everything I need with one finger on the rotor. And you can re-order your options. I do not know how long mastodon has been around. I only know that this developer has really worked hard to make this app work well, and I hope he can find a way to recover the cost of all that time even though it’s a free app.

I’m not able to log into my instance, the app only allows a select few instances
Limits User
Enthusiastically censors users by limiting users to pre-selected instances, and treating them like children who can't think for themselves.
Censorship built in.
Mercury will not let you sign in to instances that they don’t like-and no, I’m not talking about sketchy or violent places, I mean basic ideological and political censoring. Use any of the other Mastodon apps.
Doesn’t allow access to no agenda social
Since it blocks access to no agenda social, it’s worthless to me.

This message keeps popping up when trying to authenticate to several instances.
What is not supported? A little more detail would be helpful.
UPDATE: Developer response was helpful. Any forum which he has designated as a “Free Speech” Zone is blocked. These hots can change at anytime without notice. I am glad he was truthful in his response. However, I do not trust some unknown and unaccountable authority permitting/denying access to servers arbitrarily.
Look elsewhere for a client.

Shocked to see the reviews being so low. This app is great, clean looking, functional and overall a better experience than other free alternatives.
A couple things I'd want, though:
- There does not appear to be the ability to modify cover art.
- The Mute User option does not appear to work.
If I think of anything more/notice something I'll update this. Thanks for a great app!!

Does not support all instances
Tried to log in and it told me my instance is “unsupported”. Garbage.
