Simple & Beautiful
My favorite Bible app. The design is thoughtful, shows reverence for the text, and doesn’t distract.
Just a Bible
I don’t want social media in my Bible - I just want to read it. This is that.
Great app!
This is the best Bible app! I love the tradition Bible app but it’s been crowded with so much information, but I’m lookng to go straight to the Bible. This app is amazing offering lots of translation, I would love the message on here so I can have that here too! Over all a great Bible app!
The Best
Simply the best. Easy, clean and simple to use. No distractions, no prompts trying to get you to do something. No “gold stars” for opening the app every day. Just Gods word with highlights and notes.
Simple, clean, and trustworthy
I am an old user of this app from before the current name. I was so thrilled to see that it was once again getting the attention it needed from the developers so that I can go back to using it as my preferred app. I love that there are no distractions or stats to keep track of. The clean look and customization options keep me from distractions.

Love this app! I appreciate the distraction free features and the amazing font choices
Simple and easy to use
My go to app bible
The best Bible app so far
The temptation to clutter apps with features, engagement carrots, and marketing fluff is pervasive in the marketplace, but Mere Bible resists these traps. This latest update fixed the remaining issues and adds some nice improvements. This is the clean reading experience you’re looking for.
I miss NeuBible
The name (mercies are new every morning) and the heartfelt small team authorship is lost. Dwell is great, but now there is no mention of that either. Dwell Bible would game made more sense and connected the team and the heartfelt authorship. I’ll forever be grateful for what Aaron & Kory made.
Favorite
This is my favorite Bible app. This is perfectly made.
Stunningly beautiful design
Unobtrusive, helpful, delightful. This app delivers on what it promises. It is merely the Bible and that is fantastic.
Distraction Free!
I really love this bible and glad I stumbled on it, it really is distraction free, helps you just focus on the Word, and props to the team behind the design interface, it’s super easy to use and easily find a particular chapter, and the search function is also designed really well and kinda great if you want to do a word study and find all the passage that match a specific search term. Can’t recommend it enough!

At last…
NeuBible has been complete revived as Mere Bible, and with marked improvements. Please keep up the good work. Let’s get those login issues resolved and I will promote this to our church.

The best without distraction
Not ready for prime time yet
Some things are better but I keep loosing highlights.
Love seeing updates again!
Been using this app for a very long time. I love the simplicity and presentation. Great to see a couple of QoL changes right out of the gate.
Love this bible app!!
Great bible for readability. Nice updates too!! Keep up the great work!
Finally! It’s stable again!
This used to be called NeuBible and it got really buggy because of no maintenance for many years. After the recent update, it’s finally stable again!
I LOVE this app. This is how I want to read. Just me and the Bible — no streaks or endless notifications or ads or plans being shoved down your throat. It’s just you and the text in a beautiful and simple app. Finally I can delete that other Bible app!

“Mere”?
Have enjoyed using this app for many years but the new name is a terrible choice! One definition of mere suggests “insignificance”. Whoever thought it was a smart idea to change the app name to Mere clearly didn’t think it through.
Incredible
3/2026 Edit: Ok, I can finally give this 5 stars again! They did a wonderful job cleaning up the app and it is still the distraction free Bible app we’ve come to love. So glad they held onto the app’s core tenant of simple Bible reading. Great job guys!!
Edit: No meaningful updates or even bug fixes since dwell bought it years ago. The iPad app freezes constantly. The iPhone app doesn’t display chapters correctly. I love dwell and have a lifetime membership. I just wish they would have cared for this beautiful app.
Definitely the best you will find. I'm so tired of all the other Bible apps and their social functions that bombard you when you open them (looking at you, YouV...ion). You won't be disappointed by this clean, fast, text-focused Bible app. Download it now!
