About

Place your men where the lines meet, line up three, and take one of your opponent's. The rules take five minutes. Everything after that is the game. ■ On your own Eight opponents, each with its own temperament. The first only just learned the rules; not many people reach the last. Beat one to unlock the next. ■ Daily puzzle One position a day: find the win in a few moves. Difficulty follows the day of the week, and solved days count as a streak. Two years of them ship inside the app, so it works offline, and past days stay open. ■ Two players Pass one device back and forth. No network needed. ■ Online Tap Quick match and you are paired with whoever chose the same time control. Playing a friend instead? Make a private room and send them the six digits. Afterwards, play again and the colours swap for the second game. ■ Learn the rules Five short lessons. Your opponent never replies, so take your time. ■ Two looks Minimal and Wood. Switch in Settings whenever you like. ■ What is not in it No ads, no tracking, no chat. None of it. Linking an account sits in Settings, is optional, and changes nothing you can play. ■ Accessibility VoiceOver reads the whole board. Honours Reduce Motion and Dynamic Type. Drawn so meaning survives without colour, in dark mode, and at readable contrast.

What's New in Merels

1.1

August 23, 2026

Solve a puzzle and you can share the result. It carries which day it was, how many moves it took and how long your streak is — never the solution. Fixed a problem where today's puzzle appeared in the past puzzles list and could open twice.
