Instrument generator is annoying

He’s dead!
For game play, the fact that multiple block generators only have so many blocks in them is annoying. You have to start each of those back from scratch (or pretty close to scratch) to get back to playing. It is a huge waste of time and energy.
Also why does the game keep creating more block generators and ‘retire’ old ones (but keep them available)? The board gets crowded and confusing enough without that.
