I love the game
I love the game I have been playing it for months but I recently lost my account and I am wondering how to recover it?
Crying
I play this game a lot and have even bought packs on a regular basis. I don’t want my socials on my iPad and now I can’t log in without fb, email, or two options I can’t translate. What happened to my log in? I’m banging at the cages of my imprisonment. So sad.

Game is really fun but I lost my account after update :(
Despite spending money to progress and win events, the most recent update somehow restarted my account. I’ve already linked it with my apple id and email before that. Customer service did not help much as they just kept repeating the same instructions despite me telling them I can’t log in via email because it says user not found. Really sad as I enjoyed the game as my pass time daily. So long (I had over 27k coins I have yet to use to progress the plot). 😢

You ruined it
First saw the game with an ad using what looked like actual gameplay. Very cute, had a good story and was fun despite being bombarded by lots of pushy micro purchases every day. Then I saw two awful ai ads, I mean terrible, and of course unnecessary. Lost another gamer and potential customer due to ai.

Relaxing
My game since the update has froze and will not load past the very front screen before this happened. The game was fun and relaxing and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend it. Just wish they’ll fix the bug.
Can’t play without logging into Facebook
I’ve been playing this game for a couple of months and really enjoyed it. Until about 2 weeks ago when it started requiring I either log into Facebook or Google. Nope. Not happening. You track enough of my information without also requiring me to sign into social media. Unacceptable.

App Won’t Load
I enjoy the graphics and the story so far but the all continues to glitch and either freeze up or it kicks you out and will not reload
Entertaining and Relaxing, but…
I’ve been playing for about a week now, and I can say that it’s actually pretty enjoyable. The energy cap isn’t that bad, and with the new update letting us watch ads to get energy, I can’t complain. It’s easy to get to higher levels, and the UI isn’t hard to interact with. The story is a bit on the cliche side, being a pretty standard ‘back in time, I’ll change my life, girl boss’ kind of story, but it hits enough of the satisfying story marks without being so annoying, that I don’t actually have many complaints. The reward system feels fair, and all the currency, even the gems, are not too hard to get.
However, despite all that, I can still only give it three stars. One, is for the micro transactions that are just permanently clogging up the right side of the screen. I get that some of the stuff is for events, but if there was a way to make it like a menu that can retract or such, that would make the game feel more leisurely. This is also including the packs that keep popping up when you open the game.
Second, is my biggest complain, and it’s the use of AI in all the visuals. The game itself is fun, but all of the AI really pulls me out of it. Nothing is really consistent style wise, and it’s so off-putting for something that’s meant to feel like a traditional teahouse. Looking at Softy doesn’t make me feel like he’s a majestic being, or even cute, he’s just a strange, texture-less thing AI styled thing. And when you look at all the items together, all the quality of everything is so different from each other.
I don’t know how long this game has been out, but I think it deserves a visual update. Even though I don’t condone the use of AI in the use of the arts in any way, since it’s already in use, why not use it as just a placeholder, and get actual artists to design more consistent items, and characters with what’s already there as references? It doesn’t need to be a mass thing, I understand that takes a lot of time, and money, but even just some items at a time, like the statues, and other unchangeable items. I’m sure many other players would be much happier for a more cohesive personal style, than something that feels churned out.
This review is getting pretty long, so I’ll stop here, but devs, I do hope you’ll consider these suggestions.

Game is becoming more and more difficult. Impossible to complete battlepass
I paid for the monthly pass for this game and the quests barely gives you enough points so the further it goes the harder you get a reward. They should make it easier. Orders are getting harder to fulfil since the energy that you get goes away in an instant. So it's just not really that satisfying to play. So frustrating to deal with. I love the story but I think I'll opt out on paying the monthly pass next time, even got the not basic one. Disappointing.

Love the game…hate the downtime
The storyline is great and the graphics are quite beautiful. The reason I am giving it only 3 stars is because the downtime you have to wait just to get energy is ridiculous. I play a few of these games and this one is the most engaging, but by far the worst as far as energy. Most of the merges are really big and the 100 energy you can earn in a few hours goes quick without being able to complete an order. I have been paying money and still can’t get anywhere. I know people hate watching videos, but I would be glad to just to get some extra energy. I need some kind of access to energy to play. If not it just gets boring.

Deleted my energy points I purchased
I was loving this game but I purchased a VIP pack and had over 340 energy points. Went to sleep with them loaded and woke up to 100 energy! Contacted them via email and in the game and have not yet received a response with the VIP event about to end-frustrating the entire point of the purchase. Extremely disappointed.

Enjoyable Game!
Merge Teahouse is a very enjoyable game I can literally play for hours without realizing so much time has passed. I like the Asian references to cultural norms and festivities. As well I enjoy a picture into the daily life in the past with food and social strata in a teahouse business.
A fun and relaxing game!
Not very micro-transaction-y, and I like the design choices!
AI
The game is so fun and the story is interesting. The characters are very likeable!! However, I've been playing for a bit now and noticed AI was being used for the artwork. It got more and more noticeable and very tiring to look at.
Good plot and rewarding play
I’ve played many merge games and none have compared to this one, the plot is intriguing and the energy system is generous enough with its bonuses that it doesn’t feel restricted. There’s also barely any ads, and all totally optional to move forward a couple minutes. It’s a quality game, you can tell a lot of care went into it!
