Fun!

I think many can relate to moving somewhere you have no friends and having difficulty meeting people. This app allowed me to fill the need to socialize and meet a diverse group of people at various events. I found everyone super welcoming, considerate, and helpful with asking everyone questions to feel included. It feels very easy because everyone is there for the same reason and is open to meeting new people.
I like that it’s with a group of people instead of one-on-one. There’s weekend coffee events, Thursday evening events, and other events so you can go to what suits you.

My favorite friend-making app

I went through a rough breakup after an 8-year relationship and really needed friends. It was a really hard time for me. I tried different friend-making apps like TimeLeft and RealRoots but while they were nice, I didn’t make lasting friends like I did with Mesh. The people I’ve met have been very friendly and welcoming. It’s all I’ve ever wanted and exactly what I was looking for. Definitely recommend anyone to give it a shot. It literally saved my social life 😅

Love this App

Been using Mesh for just over a year and I have gotten so much out of it. Love the support of local coffee shops and I’ve met some amazing people. Mesh helped me branch out and meet people who I otherwise would not have crossed paths with. It’s been such a net positive in my life and they are always quick to help with any questions or feedback I have.

I just love this concept

Because making connections as an adult doesn’t have to be complicated or at night at a bar.
I look forward to Saturdays now more than before because of this app! At first I thought it was gonna be scary or awkward but it is so much fun and mentally stimulating to go to a cafe with 3 other random strangers, the best part is when other groups are around and we all click and make and even bigger group!

It is very safe, personally haven’t had an issue with anyone if anything I’ve made good friends and the coffee shops are local with a variety of drinks and food!

Never too old for new friends

I thought my window of making great new friends had closed. Everyone my age feels so locked into their routine. I have made some wonderful new friends through Mesh, and every event brings - at the very least - a fun conversation where I get to meet people outside my circle and learn a little more about other corners of the world around me. It has completely changed my outlook on socialization. Absolutely love this app and the thoughtful, responsive guys who run it!

Quality app

The app allows you to branch out and discover a new local business while meeting new people. Definitely worth a try. Not every meet up is as fun as you might hope, but after 3-5 you will definitely have met some people who have similar interests and good starting place to meet new people when you are new to the area.

Highlight of my week

I’ve been doing Mesh almost every week for 6 months and it has consistently been something I look forward to. I work from home so I really enjoy meeting new people each week while also growing friendships with people I value. I appreciate that most people who sign up for mesh are interested in and up for meaningful conversations.

Amazing way to meet new people

I absolutely love mesh! It is such a great way to meet new people with similar interests. It takes the pressure off making new friends. I highly recommend Mesh. The owners of mesh are also amazing people.

Try it.

I live in the Madison area, which I learned today at my first Mesh, is where this app originated. I moved here a few months ago and I work from home, and as I’m well into middle age and single, meeting new people is really difficult. Admittedly it took me a long time to try it, but I’m really glad I did. It IS organized, and people DID show up, it felt completely safe, and I had a nice chat over coffee with lovely new folks. I guess people go regularly and you start to see people again and again in different meets, which signals to me that in the long run, this is trying to build a community. I also feel like the pricing is reasonable - I’m investing in connectivity with other people IRL, and ultimately my own mental health. When I think about all the other things we spend money on, when I put it in that perspective, it’s worth it. I’m excited to go again.

Love the concept

This app is a great opportunity to meet people in the area, especially as someone who just moved cities! My only complaint is that you get only one free pass to join a coffee meetup. The first group I joined was a flop, so when I saw that I have to pay/get a membership to join a second meetup, it discouraged me from continuing. I think there should be more free passes starting out for a person to get a good feel if they want to continue using the app.

Love it but referral doesn’t work as it should

I’ve referred over 5 people with my link but the referral does not pop up for the 5th person. Also, the pricing is inaccurate. It says $6.99 for one event but the $14.99 when I try to purchase. $15 for one event seems very expensive.

Love this app

I have done 7 mesh meet ups including a mesh night!! Mesh night was absolutely amazing and can’t wait for the next one.

This is my 3rd doing a mesh meet. And I fell in love with the app! It’s amazing meeting new people with similar interests as mine! But also going to new coffee shops in my area. I can’t wait for this app to grow more and more!!

Great way to meet people

I just did a trial Mesh at an arcade bar and it was fantastic! Mesh in general has been such a good way to meet people and check out new coffee shops - the meetups are casual, low-stakes ways to meet neat people and the easy opt-in or -out each week makes it so simple to pause or restart as I’m feeling like. I’ve found so many neat places and had eye opening (in a good way!) conversations with people I would not have otherwise connected with thanks to Mesh!

Great way to meet friends!

It is so hard to find new friends in your 30s-40s, Mesh has been an amazing way for me to find people who are also seeking new friendships in a safe low pressure environment.

We think that in the age of AI and spending more time online-- its critical we have more avenues to meet and spend with people in person. You can choose to swipe and scroll to meet people-- or with Mesh, we simplify meeting and making friends-- you just sign up and accept invites to cool places-- we then have a curated group of 4 people for you to meet! (It's also super cool because you get sent to a coffee shop with about 20 other people-- and then you have your specific group of 4-- so there's this amazing energy! Thanks for leaving a review! making friends got so much easier!

I’m a new grad from another state and so I knew it might be a challenge to try to make new connections. I found out about Mesh through social media and liked that it automatically generated groups of people and already set a meet up location for me- all i have to do is show up ! Its a great way to meet new people and also try out new coffee shops in the area. I’d highly recommend it to other people like me- new grads, new to the area, and trying to meet new people. The founders are very approachable and There are some minor technical issues hut I can easily share feedback to improve use of the app. Sometimes people dont show up, which is a bummer but its great chatting with the ones that do!

Thanks you so much for the honest review : ) it always makes us happy when people leave us feedback-- sorry about some of the technical bugs-- we are implenting some better code reviews to try and limit those-- but as mentioned text us on our support number or email-- and we'll get that fixed (usually we respond with in 5 minutes but we do occasionally sleep) Congratulations on graduation-- that's actually awesome! We're so happy to be apart of the post grad journey of getting to know another state and meeting new people! No shows bum us out as well-- we have some things implemented (we have a merge group feature which will add you to another group at the coffee shop-- because send multiple groups there-- as well as we have a few more things we are working on to incentive attendence : ) thanks for giving us a shot! Great way to meet new people

I moved to a new city and was trying to find new people to hang out with. Mesh turned out to be the best way to do that. I’ve met many people using Mesh and now we hang out outside of Mesh sessions. While you never know who are you going to meet, Mesh provides a safe, low-stakes way of meeting new people and getting out of your shell. If you are trying to find a new friend group, Mesh is a great place to start.
