Complex Modeling

This is a terrific piece of software. I generated a complex mechanical part and used the orbit controls to examine hidden faces. The pinch-to-zoom revealed fine details I would have missed in a 2D drawing.

This is not the real Meshy.ai despite them using the same logo, it’s a lie. Stay away!

You can’t even try this app for 1-2 models without having to pay a minimum of $19.99 (plus tax) subscription. If I knew what this app was capable of, I’d have no problem getting a subscription but blindly requiring me to pay $20 just to see if it’s worth the money is ridiculous.

This is a very powerfull app. By adjusting the lighting angle in the viewer, I could see the grain direction and reflectivity. And that visual feedback helped me decide whether to polish or paint the final print.
