What's New in Message Keyword Filter

1.44

October 4, 2026

- A refreshed look: a calm warm background and card layout throughout the app. - Keywords now match regardless of upper/lower case and full/half-width characters. - Sender rules written with dashes (e.g. 1588-1234) now match correctly; the FAQ has been updated. - The Test page now gives exactly the same result as the real filter, and warns when a rule's category is off. - After changing categories, the app reminds you to restart the filter, with a shortcut to Settings. - Duplicate rules are blocked, plus stability fixes.

Did not work for me

Not sure if I set this up properly but my goal was to filter certain messages from an known sender. I put the keywords in one of the categories but it hasn’t filtered anything.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback! Due to iOS system limitations, filtering only works for unknown numbers. If the sender is saved as a contact or you've replied multiple times, iOS will completely bypass third-party apps like ours, so filtering will not work in those cases.
