Terrible
Such a poor idea in the first place to come up with a QR code + a bracelet to access a gym place.
Metropolitan is repeatedly getting more and more far from a high end club.
You are ruining experiences for your client, who pays a well overpaid suscription fee, for unclear reasons.
Also, how many app should an individual have for its gym. Was it really hard to integrate this ridiculous idea in one of the two other already pointless metropolitan existing app ?
Metropolitan, you are turning your client upset and losing credibility.

An added annoyance
I genuinely don’t understand why this app was introduced. What used to be a simple and seamless process to enter the gym has now become unnecessary complicated and frustrating.
For a gym that likes to project itself as a premium or even luxury facility this is a poor misstep that has made gaining access a slower and unreliable. This feels like a step backwards for such an establishment.
We all pay a membership fee that is well above the average for the area, so adding technology that makes the gym experience worse is extremely disappointing.
I really hope the management reconsiders the use of this application.

Poor quality
I’ll gloss over the discutable decision to change the modality to access the gym from bracelet to this app in order to speak about the inexistant effort to localise the product or do adequate QA: registration of the phone number needs to be done without the starting 0; when the user inputs their phone number with it, the error message isn’t explicit at all and does not explain this validation error. On top of that, all error messages as well as the validation email are in Spanish, despite the customer having no relation to the language at all (neither the location nor the system language of the device are indicative of the consumer using this language). Those points really downgrade the Metropolitan experience and are not acceptable with respect to the brand’s market position.
