Great but has some problems.
This app is very useful in learning the metabolic pathways, but there’s a few issues I’m having.
First, using the app feels very clunky. In the labeling section, you need to constantly scroll up and down to find the correct enzyme/intermediate. It makes the app annoying to use, and I spend more time scrolling than actually learning.
Second, every time you complete an activity, the app crashes. You can just reopen the app, but it sometimes crashes again. Eventually, the app will work normally again until you finish another activity. It also crashes when you go to the dashboard area, which sucks because then you can’t see your stats.
Third, many times when you get a question wrong, it doesn’t mark that you messed up. You can just keep choosing another answer until you get it right. Even if I messed up 20 times, the end will always say I got 100%.
Overall, I think it was a good attempt at an app. With some fine-tuning, I’m sure many problems can be fixed.

Encourages active recall!
All relevant pathways for the MCAT, and more! My fav feature is the build your own pathways. It was pretty intimidating at first because it really showed me how much I didn’t know, but once I got the hang of it I was so impressed with how much I learned without trying. It does have some info that I think is a little too detailed than I want, but that’s for sure better than having too little detail. Great substitute for doomscrolling lol

Amazing app
This app makes studying biochem much more fun and for the first time I actually remember all the cycles easily without forcing memorization with something like flash cards which don’t work!
great game
this game is the only reason i am passing my biochem class. i absolutely love it! my only note is that the label mode and regulate mode are the exact same questions. the regulate mode is supposed to be a hard level and the label mode is supposed to be easy. not sure if this is a bug or how it’s supposed to be.
