Has potential but needs work
- nice clean interface with effective graphics
- good choice of different dietary preferences skewed towards those on high-protein/low-carb diets
- clearly USA-based so food database may not be so good for other English-speaking countries (like UK)
- screen to input height and weight forces choice between imperial and metric for both measurements (irritating as I, irrationally I know, measure my height in cm and my weight in lbs). Deletes other measurement if you attempt to change one of them rather than auto-converting
- I follow Ketogains and selected this in app to calculate macros but my macros as calculated through the Ketogains website are different to what the app suggested (more protein on website calculator)
- it states it calculates your body fat but I can’t see anywhere where it shares this estimate with the user
I will be checking back to see progress with the app but am unlikely to become a regular user as I need a uk-food database, the best one of which for uk users is NutraCheck (though the macro tracking for keto there is somewhat problematic)
