Can’t work without it
This app is so ingrained with my workflow that I grind to a halt when I don’t have it.
Best Controller App Out There
If you’re looking for a controller app for your Mac, this is the best one. I’ve tried them all in depth and MGP really doesn’t have any competition at this point. You can set up complete control of any app on your Mac and completely customize your work interface. Make it as simple or complex as you want. And it completely interactive and follows everything you do on your Mac in real-time, instantaneously, even switching through bunches of apps, windows and utilities. It follows right along based on how you set it up. If you pair this app with Keyboard Maestro, there really isn’t anything you can’t automate on your Mac. For people who’ve used or are using apps like StreamDeck, SoundFlow, Lemur or Touch OSC, MGP is the next level above those. Think of being able to take the functionality of those apps and then customize, scale, and modify anything and everything about your controller so it’s exactly the way YOU want it to be. The sky’s the limit. Plus you don’t have buy expensive subscriptions or extra hardware to get started. This app has fundamentally changed the way I work and has does the same for every person I’ve turned on to it. If you’ve tried it in the past and got put off by the setup or instability, all of that has been fixed. This is the future of controller apps.

I retract everything i say about this app
PC USER BE WARNED… This app always lags behind the Apple Version. The price structure is terrible. It’s a hit and run app for PC users. You get hit with a large bill to use the app yet for PC users it’s awful to use. And pls do not listen to anyone when you are told to run MetaServer app as an admin… once you do so every app launched from meta grid will be run with admin rights on your PC.. I’ve followed this dev for a long while now and there isn’t any real interest in development for PC user. This is why i call this app hit and run! I promise you this, the PC version works nowhere near as stable as the Apple version. Dev shame on you!

App has serious potential but….

I had to change my review on this app. After spending a week really learning what this app does I’m actually blown away. I originally gave this app 2 stars which tbh was really unfair. I give 4 stars instead of 5 cause I’d personally like to see more windows intergration and there are some minor problems. Amazing app. Update: And then I discovered the new price plan options. £99 for a lifetime subscription when i already purchased one a few yrs back… Thankfully there are alternative options.

Won’t Even Open
Used to work, but can’t even get past the initializing screen now. iPad and app are fully up-to-date. Restarting has no effect. Most expensive digital paperweight of an app I’ve purchased.
