Welcome to Metagrid — the evolution of Tic-Tac-Toe. Metagrid (also known as Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe) takes the classic game you know and adds a layer of strategic depth that changes everything. How it Works: The game is played on a large 3x3 grid, where each cell contains a smaller 3x3 board. The Golden Rule: The cell you play in determines which board your opponent must play in next. Win a small board to claim that cell on the main grid. Win three small boards in a row to win the game! Features: Single Player: Three opponents, from forgiving to ruthless. The hardest searches several moves ahead and will punish a loose move. Local Multiplayer: Pass-and-play with a friend on the same device. Dark Neon Design: A board where colour carries the state — whose turn it is, which grid is live, and which line took the match. Highlight System: The board you have been sent to glows, so the rule that trips up new players becomes obvious. Tap targets, captured boards and the winning line are all called out. Scored Rounds: Play a series and keep the score. A filled grid with no three-in-a-row goes to whoever claimed more boards. Forget draws. Forget boredom. Enter the Metagrid.
