About
MetalFind is a private metal-detecting journal. Add search zones for parks, beaches, fields, and woodland, then start a hunt with the detector, coil, and preset you used that day. Log each keeper with depth in centimetres, signal ID, tone, a material guess, and photos as found and after cleaning. The field canvas lists your zones and the hunt in progress. From the dig tray you open a zone card, the hunt session, yield, gear locker, clean-and-identify queue, trash log, or the season planner. Yield ranks sites by keepers per hour versus junk and shows a depth histogram so you can see which centimetres paid. Each hunt can tally pull tabs, foil, nails, and other junk separately from keepers. Zones store permission notes and hot spots. The zone map keeps pins private and never puts exact coordinates on a shared hunt card. Identify coins with year, country, and notes. Plan the month with weather hints, permit reminders, and season goals. Depth, zone, and settings stay on the hunt so you can repeat the days that paid.
