Das Ergebnis hängt stark von der Scan-Qualität und der Vorgehensweise beim Erfassen ab. Für bestmögliche Resultate findest du in der App unter "Hilfe" → "Pro Tips" konkrete Hinweise zur optimalen Scan-Technik. Metaroom ist nicht auf millimetergenaue Vermessung ausgelegt, sondern auf eine kosteneffiziente und verlässliche Erfassung als Planungsgrundlage. An erweiterten Bearbeitungsmöglichkeiten arbeiten wir bereits – diese Funktionen befinden sich noch in Entwicklung.

Hi Liam. N. P, and thanks for your feedback! We understand your confusion — the reason you're experiencing this issue is likely because you're using a standard iPhone 15. While it’s a powerful device, only iPhone PRO models (from iPhone 12 Pro onwards) and iPad Pro models from 2020 include the built-in LiDAR sensor required for scanning with our app. The LiDAR sensor is essential for our app because it measures depth and distance with precision, which allows us to generate true-to-scale 3D models of indoor spaces. Non-Pro devices (like the iPhone 15) do not have this sensor, and therefore cannot support the room scanning feature, which is at the core of the Metaroom app. When this sensor is missing, the app can’t start a scan — and that’s why you’re seeing the issue. We understand that this may be disappointing, especially when you're eager to get started. If you have any other questions or need help choosing a compatible device, we’re happy to assist. Hello there, Thank you for your feedback, and we're truly sorry for the frustration this has caused. It’s definitely not the experience we aim to provide. The reason you’re seeing the onboarding video repeatedly and you have no option to allow camera is likely because your iPad model does not have a LiDAR sensor, which is required for scanning with our app. Without this sensor, the app cannot proceed to the scan function, hence the loop. Our app is currently only compatible with iPhones from the Pro series (from iPhone 12 Pro) and iPad Pro models from 2020 - only these devices offer the LiDAR sensor technology and performance. We understand how disappointing that must be, especially when you're trying to plan a renovation. If you have any questions or need help, don't hesitate to contact us. Hallo und vielen Dank für dein Feedback! Die Metaroom Scan App benötigt ein Apple-Pro Gerät mit integriertem LiDAR-Sensor. Leider verfügt das iPad der 9. Generation nicht über einen LiDAR-Sensor. Unsere App ist derzeit nur mit iPhones ab der Pro-Serie (ab iPhone 12 Pro) und iPad Pro-Modellen ab 2020 kompatibel - nur diese Geräte bieten die nötige Sensorik und Performance.
