Excellent Replacement for Weather Pro

The constant downgrades in Weather Pro left me looking for a similar alternative to the original version which I’ve subscribed to for over a decade. MeteoBlue Premium fits the bill.

The UI could do with a bit of TLC, especially on iPad, and it’s annoying you can’t remove the message about reordering cards plonked down in the middle of them nor entirely remove the options you don’t want instead of these simply being collapsed.

Best Weather App out there

Very useful compared to the native iOS weather. You are not mislead by just one weather icon for the entire day, You can see straight away it can be a sunny day with a little bit of rain. Found the weather predictions more accurate than other weather apps as well. The RainSPOT feature is really useful as well.

Buggy app…

I have got a Meteoblue subscription, but due to the technical issues, I can’t add any weather warnings. It keeps saying, that I should buy a subscription.
Meteoblue customer service is useless. Contacted twice, but nothing has been fixed.
Reinstalled the app, latest version, but still the same issue persist.

The only weather app you'll ever need.

Actually so legit. Perfect. Really helpful for getting an idea in remote places, and it's honestly been pretty accurate. Checking the multi-model page is also incredibly interesting.

Widget?

App is generally good, but the widget is showing yesterday's weather, which is not very helpful. Specifically, it shows the temp range and "visual" forecast from the previous day, which is on top of the detail view.

Accurate

Excellent data and historically very accurate. This is my favorite weather app, but the ads are super annoying so the paid version can be worth it. But there are also free apps available with the same data - so what is the value paying for the subscription? Just so the same data can be displayed in a different way?

Great App for Pilots

Very useful app, I use it to get local forecast for paragliding. My only annoyance is a bug, which prevents me from renaming favourites that were defined using coordinates. If this gets fixed, I’ll update the review to 5 stars.

Reliable forecasts

By far and away the best Met app available. Certainly for the west coast of Britain, but also reliable for overseas travel. One of the best features is the radar graphic particularly when tracking weather fronts including cyclones in the Arabian Sea while at sea and on the coast.
