Why!?
Great app but… I have paid for no ads many years ago in app. I even tried to restore purchases when that option was available. Nothing happened. Now I have adds and you want me to pay again for another no add version?…

You update the app, a Perfectly Great app, for the first time in 6 years. All the feedback you've gotten says it's a bad update, and now you want to release the same, now inferior app, as an Ad Free Paid version !
In addition to that, to make matters worse you want folks to pay --> $25.00 for it !!!
“As of January 2025, the Apple App Store had roughly 1.8 million apps priced less than a dollar.
A further 16,000 iOS apps cost 1 & 2 dollars.
Additionally, over 3,000 apps in the Apple Store were priced between 9 & 10 dollars”
and, sorry to say this but, yours, even when it was better, was Not a $10 app.

I’m sorry to say that, like most of the recent reviews, I find the new version a let down. Other than less frequent updates to currency the past version was perfect, it did not need updating! The newer version is much less easy to use and the layouts are poor. I used to use the app everyday, and would click the Ads as a way of saying Thank You. Now I visit less, and the Ads get in the way, before they did not. There’s an expression, “if it’s not broken don’t fix it“. I wish you would go back to the old version and just update the currency more frequently. Down from five stars to three ☹️

Up until recently it was a great useful app and I get the ads but NOW , go thru ALL the Cookies/Data that is " accepted " as DEFAULT...YIKES!!!!
Cookies and “legitimate interest”
Honestly, what “legitimate interest” do half a million “vendors” have in me converting inches to cm? It’s taken half an hour to dig down and untick each individually, and I shouldn’t have to pay for the “privilege” of having “less” spyware. I hate cookies! They make you fat! 😡🤬😡

The fiddled and fiddled with a formerly functional app, and now it is nearly useless.
Full of ads
Used to be an awesome app, my go to for all conversions but since the update, full of ads, constantly “loading” and basically unusable. So disappointed. Deleted after many years :(

Crazy
This developer has embedded ads in the app and asked for crazy money for a premium subscription. A primitive app for $25, seriously? I will delete this app.

I used to use this app daily for precise metric to standard conversions. The recent update clearly makes it a web based interface. There are too many ads, and far fewer options for custom results. No options to save most used conversions. I’ve gone back to a standard calculator.
DON’T UPDATE!!!
If you love this app, do NOT update. The new version makes it impossible to see everything I need to see and the part you need to tsp on too. Invert anything isn’t even visible in the screen. Everything is USELESSLY larger. You have to scroll a lot more to get to what you want and a lot seems to even be missing. AND I DIDNT EVEN UKDATE THUS. It did it in its own . Now I have to search for another app because this one, once sleek, well organized and super useful is now useless to me. I can’t even se what I’m writing, so pardon the typos.. I just can’t see what I’m doing. If it ain’t broke, DONT FIX IT. Goodbye, once great app. Thanks for nothing.

Deleted App
Used this app for many years until this latest update. New format is way less friendly than old style. Now I have to find a different app.
If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.
The app worked great prior to the update. It was far simpler to use. I use an iPad and the “ please select type” heading takes up half my screen size, and I can only see one option to choose from at a using when scrolling. I really do not like this app anymore.

Great but contradictory privacy policy
Love this little app; clear user interface and easy to navigate. It would deserve 5* if it weren't for a misleading privacy policy (for which reason I just deleted it).
Despite the privacy policy saying there is no data tracking, it just popped up one of those infuriating cookie selection tools requiring an hour to uncheck all the so-called 'legitimate interest' boxes.
I'm confused! If it's not tracking user data why did this cookie selection to appear?
UPDATE 17.3.25 I really appreciate the developer response. However both 'Reject All' and 'Manage Settings > unchecking boxes individually > Save Settings & Exit' both resulted in '500 | SERVER ERROR'
I'd deleted from phone but forgot iPad. Now deleted there too. I don't paying a fair one-off fee for apps, but I'm eliminating those that allow tracking.

Great app until late
Been using this app for about 2 years and loved it as I do woodworking hobbyist and need to make conversions. All of a sudden ads start popping up and are very loud and hard to exit from. App deserves a 5 star except with the very annoying ads give it a 3.
Can’t wait until new app comes out. Use it just about every day. Hope the purchase price is reasonable and not a subscription as I will not pay for any subscription app.
