App won’t let you stop paying. I called the customer service and they told me where to leave the bike and I went there and still couldent pause the payment. Took an hour of talking to customer service on the phone and threatening to go to the police for them to end my rental.

In the app, all fields are labelled "map..." or "sidebar...." and therefore cannot be used.
Best way to get around TLV
This is the best way to explore Tel Aviv. There are plenty of areas to rent and park.

Think UK lime bikes but lighter and easier. I’ve been using the metro fun bikes for the two weeks that I’ve been in Israel and they’re fantastic. It also helps of course that Tel Aviv has many bike lanes and that the fellow cyclists and scooter’ists are careful and respectful. There are lots of places to leave the bike ie lots of clearly marked docking stations and they have to be left there which makes the roads beautifully uncluttered. I’ve needed customer services a couple of times and they’ve been nothing other than a complete joy to communicate with. Kol hakavod metrofun!!

The bikes are always in pristine condition, making for a smooth and enjoyable ride every time. The practicality of the service is unmatched, with convenient pick-up and drop-off locations all around the city It's a vast improvement from the old company, Tel-O-Fun, with better technology and easier payment options. And the customer service is top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff always ready to help with issues. Overall, I think the company now has dramatically improved since the old “tel-o-fun” team left, and a bright future is ahead!

Can’t stop the ride
3 out of 4 rides i locked the bike but the time was still going on and money were charging. Only after call wich you can make only from Israel phone they stopped it manually. Were bad user experience in app. Green Bikes are very bad quality. Chat in app is not working at all - they just dont replay. Beterr call them if you want to finish ride. At least they speak english sometimes.

App doesn’t register American passport
I’ve tried to scan my American passport several times without success. The app uploads the file 100% and then I see a check mark. When I try to rent the electric bike I get a message saying that I need to update my personal information. I go to personal information and the passport upload is not there. That’s terrible.

Once you add money to your account the funds sit as ‘loading’

שירות מזעזע, נרשמתי לאפליקציה והכנסתי כרטיס אשראי השכרתי אופניים לכמה דקות ובסוף הנסיעה עדכנו אותי שהנסיעה עלתה 15 שקל אותה נסיעה שבכל אפליקציה אחרת הייתה עולה 10 שקלים, מספר ימים אחרי שסיימתי את הנסיעה התחילו להתקשר אלי כל כמה דקות ממספרים לא מזוהים עשרות שיחות ולאחר כמה זמן החלטתי לענות למספרים הלא מזוהים והתברר לי שמדובר בתלאופן הם התקשרו בדרישה שאני חייב להם 15 שקל, הייתי עסוק מספר ימים ולא יצא לי לכסות את החוב במהלך השבוע התרידו אותי והתקשרו מעל 40 שיחות ללא הפסקה, לא מובן איך בשנת 2023 חברה נותנת שירות למרות שכרטיס האשראי לא אושר ועוד מרשים לעצמם להתריד את הלכוח עשרות שיחות ביום למשך שבוע ממש התקשה לכל דבר כמובן ששילמתי להם את ה15 שקל שלהם וכמובן שלא השתמש יותר בשירותים שלהם ואני גם ממליץ לכולם להתרחק מהשירותים שלהם כדי שלא ירדפו גם אתכם.
אני חוויתי חוויה מאוד לא נעימה איתם וממליץ לשקול שוב לפני השימוש בשירות, לא יתכן שחברה תיתן שירות לפני ביצוע התשלום ולא יתכן שחברה תרדוף אחרי אדם ותתריד אותו עם כמות שיחות מוגזמת בשביל 15 שח שלא חויבו בגלל חוסר האחריות של החברה!

There was no explanation of how to get the bike out and it ended up stressing me out and ruining my plans.

leider ist die app unzuverlässig/instabil, und das fahrradsystem als solches funktioniert leider auch so gut wie gar nicht mehr. Schade, war vor einigen Jahren mal toll
App doesn’t work
Between my girlfriend and I, we tried using an American passport, an Israeli passport, an Israeli ID, and a local phone number. Nothing worked. The app consistently scanned 100% of the ID and then returned an error. I contacted customer support and have not heard back yet. The bikes are un-rentable. Judging by this app’s reviews and the reviews of its partner app in Jerusalem this is a problem that’s been around for some time without any change. I guess no one is using these bikes anywhere? What’s the point? Is it a con?
