Awful
After the last update there are a lot of ads which don’t let you use the app until you close it and open, non-usable app

Not Usable
I have Metro man apps for four other cities and they’re all wonderful. For Shanghai, I am not able to access anything on the metro. When I open the app, I can only get to a TaoBao application, wanting me to buy things. I reinstalled it and now when I open it, I can only get to something wanting me to buy insurance. I have not once been able to actually access the subway map or schedule.

Frustrated when using this app
This app is notorious for popping up ads that obscure the view, making it frustrating to use. The ads keep appearing and cannot be turned off. I was at the Shanghai subway station trying to look up my route and spent over five minutes struggling to get rid of the ads, which made it impossible to plan my journey. This is a terrible way to monetize an app.

Excellent map, awful ads
The maps are great but the adverts are highly annoying. Most of the adverts are Chinese which means they are more annoying than normal adverts. It is also hard to close the ads especially when the ‘close’ button is the same color as the advert. Please remove these adverts or at least replace them with normal, western adverts.

Turned to crap
This app was pretty useful before but now it’s not possible to use it because ads always pop up. Check alternatives
