2.0.2
October 7, 2026
Version 2.0.2 brings more ways to train your rhythm with a tap. You can also practice with your instrument through an audio interface or microphone. START IN TAP INPUT New installations open in Tap Input, ready for tap practice. Your saved input mode is preserved when updating. RHYTHM CHALLENGE Choose 15, 30, 60, 120, 300, or 600 seconds. Get ready with a one-bar count-in using clicks and numbers, then practice through the end of the final bar. Review your score, grade, histogram, and missed inputs, or choose Try again. TAP, HEAR, AND CHECK YOUR TIMING A tone sounds when you press the pad and stops when you release it. Adjust its volume from 0 to 100. Presses and releases have separate scores, with release scoring off by default. Challenge scores also account for missing and extra inputs. HISTORY, TRENDS, AND SHARING Review scores and histograms, and filter results by duration, input mode, and period. Share results and trend charts as images with #metronoamee captions. AUDIO AND DISPLAY IMPROVEMENTS Automatic latency compensation now uses timing information reported by your audio setup. Manual tap calibration and direct entry remain available. Improved click sounds and volume, output recovery after route changes, camera layouts on iPad and Mac, timeline rendering, and live histogram updates during challenges. Fixed the red beat indicator stopping after the first bar. 15-, 30-, and 60-second challenges are free. Free history is cleared when the app closes. Challenges of 120 seconds or longer and history saved between launches require the existing one-time all-features purchase. Previous purchasers do not need to buy again.
