Beautiful, intuitive, no distractions
I purchased this to help my wife with her guitar practice. She bought herself an antique wooden metronome that looks perfect but doesn’t swing evenly anymore. This app gives her back the feel of looking at a pretty Metronome, with the bonus of actually doing the job of keeping the beat evenly. :)
I also like the selection of sounds available for the beats.
If you are ever thinking of any future features, a slider to alter to pitch of the existing sounds would be great. I could make the Knock sound file you have sound a bit more like the larger wood metronome my wife originally had.

Thank you for your feedback. Please be aware that the metronome volume is controlled in two places: 1. System volume of the iPhone or iPad – this should be set to maximum. 2. In-app audio volume – in Settings you will find a separate volume control for the metronome sound, which should also be set to maximum in your case. If either setting is lower, the metronome will sound much quieter. For very loud instruments like saxophone, headphones or an external speaker will help due to the physical limits of built-in speakers.

Excellent app, excellent customer service
Disclaimer: what follows is a description of an issue that I had that was my own lack of understanding of the app’s functions, not any issue with the app itself.
I was having an issue with it where I thought it wouldn’t allow you to completely remove the different beat sound (don’t know what that’s called) at the end of whatever timeframe you set. The number of beats is set at 12, so I got this to do 11 ticks and on the 12th beat it would do this tink sound that pulled me out of my focus and mindfulness. I’m sure this is necessary for musicians but it was jarring to me for my purposes.
I emailed the developer and they got back to me extremely quickly and told me how to remove that sound so it would only play the sound I wanted. I also learned that this app does a lot more than I thought it did. Which, again, I’m sure makes it a great app for musicians. The person was kind and patient and explained how to fix my issue in a way that was easily understandable, which was my issue and had nothing to do with the quality or function of the app itself. I was very pleased with the timely response to my complaint and the graciousness with how the person handled it.
I was very impressed with my experience with the app as well as my experience communicating with the developer.
