Thought this was great..
Would’ve been great if I didn’t get a surprise $30 surcharge for parking at the airport. Completely diminished the reason for taking this over an uber as it ends up more expensive. If the airport controls this fee then make a deal with them to get it down under $10 or there’s just no point.
Perfect vehicle solution
Brilliant concept. Easy to use app and cars. Nothing but positive things to say
Service unavailable
Had urgent need to rent a vehicle to move belongings during flood during heavy rain. Messaged before 6pm to activate. Not activated before the team went home. Couldn’t borrow a car. Will cost exponentially more money to solve my problem now. This is not a service, it’s the concept of a service.
Cars are nice, app glitchy
I’ve used Mevo twice now. In both instances, the cars were nice and I had no issues reserving, unlocking and driving the cars. However, both times I tried to end my drive, the app did not let me to do.
Fortunately, in both cases, I was able to call the help line and the support person was able to end my drive remotely once they picked up, but it’s disappointing that what should be a basic part of the app does not work as intended.
If this was a user issue, neither the app nor the support person gave any indication of what I did wrong - which would be a helpful feature to add to the app if that was the case.
The app is still good for people who don’t own a car who occasionally need one on short notice, but issues with the app make me only want to use it when I have no other option.
