About

Mexen is the two-dice game you play at the bar, at the kitchen table or on the campsite — and this app is the scorekeeper. Three throws, the lowest roll loses the round and takes the whole pot. You roll, the app knows the rules and keeps count. The game also goes by Mex, Mexxen, Maxen, Mäxchen, Meiern or Mia: the same two dice, the same suspense. Play for points, or for sips when everyone is 18 or older. You pick that on the first start and you can switch at any time. PLAY TOGETHER • Everyone plays on their own phone: open a lobby, let your friends join over Wi-Fi or a hotspot and roll your own turns. • Players without a phone can still join in; the host handles them. • Works without internet and without an account, also with friends who have a different phone. THE RULES, KEPT BY THE APP • Two dice, three throws; the higher die is the tens. The last throw counts. • Mex (2 and 1) is the highest roll: your turn ends at once and three go into the pot. • A 31 hands one out to another player and you roll again. A 32 is the lowest roll of all. • Double 1 makes you the pirate: every double rolled after that is one for the pirate. • Tied for the lowest throw? A one-die duel decides who takes the pot. • Extreme mode: everyone always throws three times and the pot grows a lot faster. • Keep a die with a single tap, for one throw only — exactly like at the table. WHAT THE APP DOES FOR YOU • Real 3D dice with a rolling animation, and a scoreboard after every round. • The pot, the pirate and the throw limit always in view, so nobody has to do the maths. • A walkthrough on the first start: nine short steps and you know the game and the app. • Give every player a photo, so one glance tells you whose turn it is. • Share the result of a round as a clean card with the standings of the night. • Autoplay to learn the rules, and undo for when somebody taps by accident. • An open pot is kept: close the app and you simply carry on later. • Your own music keeps playing; the game sounds play on top. • Play on the big TV with AirPlay, handy with a large group. • Six languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese. NO FUSS No account, no sign-in, no internet needed, no ads. Players, photos and settings stay on your own phone. Play with 2 to 12 players on one phone, or together, each on their own phone. WHO IT IS FOR For groups of friends, housemates and clubs looking for a dice game that is quick to explain and stays fun for a long time. At a party, in a student room, on the campsite or on an ordinary Saturday night. RESPONSIBLY Mexen is intended for people aged 18 and over. If you play with alcohol, drink in moderation and do not drive afterwards. Nobody has to drink: in points mode you play exactly the same dice game without a single sip being mentioned.
