Traditional Train
I like the rules options on this game, but it will not let you win a round. All the computer players will lay down 6 or 7 at the beginning, and you might not get any. When there is a chance you might win a round, the computer makes sure you have to draw. I also noticed that when you play on a train, it opens your train, which I don’t believe is correct. I should be able to play on any open train.

Great FUN+ NO ADS❤️
I’d forgotten how much fun dominoes can be since the kids have grown up. This is a really cool implementation and NO ADS!!!
Review
I really like the game. I don’t mind all of the rules implementations that others complain about but can we please add a pass and play option or some kind of multiplayer. This would be a perfect game for me to play with someone else locally.
Change players
Can you change players, it seems like you play with the same people all the time.

The names are fixed for each difficulty level. So for example, the "hard" setting has one set of name (implying smart AI), whereas the "easy" setting will have names indicating less talented players. There is no real special meaning to the computer player names.
Game froze
I have been playing this game for just a few days and have enjoyed it more than any other mexican train game I’ve played. BUT, it just froze a minute ago and even deleting the game from my iPad does nothing. I tried to contact the developer through their website but received a message saying it was not possible to do this. WHAT NOW?

Cant win
The ai makes it so hard to win that you normally get over 500 points in each game. I play real domino’s mexican train and have never had so many bad hands given to me. I cant play this game anymore.
Game ends?
Game ends when my opponent isn’t able to play anymore, but I still have dominoes that can play on his. This is on the one opponent option.
I would also prefer that my train not open when I’m able to play on open trains. I’ve never played that way in other apps or when playing with friends on game night.
I love that there are options to play with fewer people as well as the option to draw until someone finds the current double to start the game. I’d like to try that with friends.
Overall, this is a fun game. I haven’t played my other Mexican train app since I found this one. Mexican train is the only game I have on my device.

Rigged
I have been playing this for quite some time, and it seems about 85% of the time a receive at least 5 doubles in the draw. This seems a little more than just a random luck of the draw. My game still does double score on doubles, but shows this was one of the fixes. How do I get an update.
Strange open train rule
Playing on the Mexican train or any other open train should not cause my train to open.

playing on an open train, when mine is closed, should not open my train up. especially when obliged to play on an open double!

Great game, thanks for the update allowing the choice to not double count your doubles. Makes a great game even better.

Great game. Good concept. Execution of game is not impressive. Computer generated games are just that, to be played by computers. Not humans. Poncho wins the biggest part of the time. Computer generated player. Butch and Jesse are the next frequent winners. Computer generated. That leaves You. Human. Not going to win in this app.

Terrible!
This game is terrible! Every round I had to shut App down and re-open it to get to next round. You can’t move dominos in your tray to line them up and I have never seen or heard of this variation where each player plays all of their playable dominoes first and then you continue around the table. Deleting it NOW!!!

Good, but can be better
One of the better implementations out there but needs work:
1. If I have a closed train, playing on any open train DOES NOT open my train, ever. Kind of defeats the purpose of open and Mexican train.
2. Counting a double tile for scoring doubled is just wrong. I have never seen this scoring rule. Might have missed it, but hope not.
3. The option to start with only single tile play would be nice, but not at the expense of losing the current game play option.
4. Minor issue: pip colors-would like to see them mirror many of the actual tiles I have played with, 5 is blue etc.

Weird rules
I really appreciate a game that includes pips above 9, but some of the rules/play don't match what I expect in Mexican train.
1) I wish there was a way to turn off play everything at the beginning and force it all to be one by one
2) I wish the build function could remain during the game to better keep track of orders
3) my own train becomes open simply because I've played somewhere else? Even when you haven't had to draw? My understanding was it only happened when you drew and couldn't play anything.

Thank you for you comments. When I started this project I discovered there were many rule variations; I tried to pick the most used options in my app. In particular your comments 1 and 3 were rule options I only discovered late in the project (I found these by word of mouth; these two variations aren't written in most rule descriptions I've found). I'll look at including these additional options in the future as I find time. Thanks again.
