Update issues
Ever since the latest update it only shows that the app is connected, but continuously says there was a delay and to try again. It’s been like this for days. It doesn’t display any of the devices connected or the profiles I had set up to limit and monitor my kids internet usage.
Would love it if it worked right reliably
Love the features of this app… but half the time the app freezes and I have to force close and restart it. And starting last week it now doesn’t always show me every device I KNOW is connected to and using the wifi. My son’s iPad randomly disappeared from the list of online devices so i couldn’t pause the internet access. Then a day later it randomly re-appeared. Now today his computer doesn’t show on the list… would be great if it worked. :/

The app itself is a pretty nice app. I like that you can control each individual device, control internet access by person, set schedules to ensure kids are doing homework after school and not watching TV. The thing I hate about this app is that you can’t control the types of notifications that are coming across. All I want to know about is when a new device connects…instead I am getting notifications literally every 5 minutes that VPN was detected on my network. I work from home and connect with a VPN, I have a smart watch that uses VPN…I know that I have VPN connections on my network, I don’t need to be alerted of these every other minute in my day! I really wish the developers would add an enhancement that would allow the user to select the types of notifications they want to see instead of just notifications on or off.
UPDATE: Someone from MHTC contacted me to help with the settings on notifications. After doing some troubleshooting I was able to get the VPN notifications turned off and it’s now a useful app! Great customer support and quick turn around when issues are reported! Thanks!
