Mi Familia is calmer, clearer, and more useful in this update. Welcome • A new step-by-step setup helps you add your first family member with name, date of birth, blood group, and any emergency info • A short, swipeable tour shows how Mi Familia keeps your family’s information private and on your device Home • Add a document directly from Home • Recent documents look cleaner and tap into the right place Family • Add a member with the new guided flow, or jump straight to the full editor • Member notes can be marked “Emergency only” so they show up in Emergency Mode but not on regular Notes lists or Home Reminders • See every reminder in one place — a 2-day “Renew” window for items just past due, the next 7 days, and a Later section for everything further out • Pick a custom date and time for renewal reminders (great for non-standard alerts) • Default reminders now fire at a sensible time on the chosen day so notifications don’t disappear into the night • Past-due reminders stick around for 2 days so you can renew them, then are removed automatically • Tap “Renew” on an overdue reminder to jump straight to the document or task to update it • Documents that expire today now show up in Suggestions so you don’t miss them Documents • Better management of document types • New built-in document type: Property record • Cleaner Medical handling — Medical card no longer has a sub-category, while Medical record keeps a clear record-type picker • Manage custom document types from Hub → Documents • Behind the scenes, categories are tidied up automatically so older documents land in the right section Emergency Mode • Blood groups are color-coded and easier to scan at a glance • Emergency-only member notes appear here too Tasks and Assets • Friendlier task editor with a calmer color tone • Deleting a task also clears its reminder • You can now delete an asset from inside the asset editor Search • More reliable navigation when you tap into a result and come back Privacy and unlock • The app lock setting is now labelled “Require Face ID or Passcode” with shorter, clearer wording • Unlocking uses the same flow as your iPhone Lock Screen — Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode — depending on what your device supports • A simpler, less wordy lock screen Polish • Reminders screen has clearer section labels and lighter visuals • Updated app name, screens, and prompts use the “Mi Familia” branding consistently • Many small wording and layout improvements across Hub, Documents, Reminders, and the lock screen Thank you for using Mi Familia.
