Easy to use, but has one annoying bug
Everything is great, EXCEPT when editing the END TIME AND DATE. As you spin the dials for hour, minute, day, for the end of the event, the beginning time and date will change to the ending time and date.
No iCloud reminder syncing
The description markets iCloud reminders however those don’t seem to work.
iPad version requires improvement
Almost impossible to “EDIT” titles of schedules on iPad that are both created in either iPhone or iPad.
- After 6 months of my above suggestion, it still impossible to write / edit Titles, notes etc. iPad ! Please look into it THANK YOU
2. UNFORTUNATELY, the latest update (8.4.5) did not cure the problem. You still cannot edit on iPad, regardless of which keyboard is used, including Apple keyboard. This is bad !!
3. Update: iPad adding/editing is still no good 8 Feb 26

Love month view
I live by this calendar! Love at a glance the color coded month view! I use pink for “me” appts and blue for grandkid events, etc. I like that Apple calendar (which I don’t look at; but will cink events into mi-cal. I like that when I input location of events I can hit address and Apple Maps is up and running:-)

The One & Only
This has been my one and only calendar app that I have used for years. I ran into a glitch recently that I am hoping can be fixed; the anniversaries I add in my contacts are showing up in the calendar as a year off. It is calculating the year it began as the first year anniversary when that should not be until the following year. Aside from that this calendar has never failed me and I have turned many people on to using it!

The notifications stopped working suddenly.
They work for the main calendar app so I’ve had to go back to that one.

très complet et pratique
facile d’emploi et complet cette appli est mon agenda perso et pro. manqué la possibilité pour le parcour entre 2 point de modifier le véhicule et la vitesse… par ex dans notre cas un camping car limité à 110km/h….

Une amélioration souhaitée
J’utilise MiCal depuis des années ne trouvant rien d’acceptable de la part d’Apple. Mais, parce qu’il y a un mais, il me manque une fonctionnalité très simple à mettre en œuvre et qui en ferait l’application parfaite: la possibilité de pouvoir créer des modèles d’horaires. Quand on fait souvent les mêmes horaires pour un même libellé on doit toujours tout refaire. La possibilité qu’une activité X propose un horaire prédéfini que l’on puisse changer au besoin serait parfait… à bon entendeur…

So reliable and intuitive
Apple keeps developing new versions of their calendar app, but nothing beats miCal. Have been using it for years, across different devices via iCloud sync and even different Apple IDs by sharing the calendar. It’s a big time saver and super intuitive!
Redundancy
I really wanted this app to work for me but the fact that it relies on pulling information from the Apple calendar & Apple reminders apps feels like redundancy to me. Why would I add a third app if I’m already needing the two mentioned? Thankfully the app didn’t cost me more than $1.99
No help desk support
Submitted an issue for review 10/3/24. As of today, 5/14/25, still no response. Multiple follow-ups.
This Really Is The Best Calendar
This is the best calendar. I’ve used it for years and cannot imagine using a different one. It does everything I need and more.
Still the best calendar app!
I've been using miCal for years... It seamlessly syncs and the user interface is so very intuitive. I cannot imagine using any other calendar. I occasionally look at other calendar apps but have not seen any approaching the sophistication of miCal.

Loved it until now
I never use the Apple calendar but may have to go back.😳 suddenly it no longer interacts with Apple Maps and doesn’t recognize when I’m asking it to map the address I’ve added to the calendar appointment.
Nearly perfect
What is missing is the quality of natural language input for events and reminders. Benchmark it to Fantastical and put in a option to increase font size and u have a winner all the way.
