It does this when you calculate a route, but once you set off, it ignores the traffic and uses an "optimistic" approach. This means it ignores traffic and instead uses road speed data to calculate the ETA, which can be hit and miss. I need more time to include traffic delays in the ETA once you start navigating. The app needs to generate more revenue to afford the traffic data.
