Fantastic for Micro.Blog
This app is fantastic. Micro.blog is my internet hub and this app makes interacting with the timeline as beautiful as it is useful.
The best way to view Micro.blog
I’ve been a Micro.blog user for years and this is the best way to view the timeline.
Sharing alone is superb!
I can share right from Safari and post. Pull quote and a link. I’ve had such a convoluted system for this. Now it’s just built in!
Love this app! Feels like it exposes all the bits I want to use of Micro.blog and it’s customizable and easy to use.

Beautiful app that enhances the micro.blog social app
Bringing together the myriad features of micro.blog in a single app, with a focus on the social interactions is a worthwhile project in itself. But that this app delivers it with both style, usability and panache makes it a big improvement and essential for micro.blog users on iOS.
A great start for interacting with micro.blog
The interface of this app really feels like a native iOS app and is a joy to use.
One area that could use improvement is replies—Right now, their layout is really confusing, with a reverse chronological order and some replies broken out into their own sections. I would love to see an option where replies can be just shown one after the other, chronologically.
Another thing I’ve noticed is inconsistency in the books sections. After adding a book to a list, I have a hard time getting it to show up. Sometimes there is a refresh button, sometimes there is not. Often it seems like pulling to refresh doesn’t do anything. I’d love to see more stability here.
Finally, an iPad app would be great!

Great Micro.blog Experience
If you use Micro.blog get Greg’s app. It’s a great user experience that I know will continue to get better. Oh, and leave a tip to help with future development!
A fantastic experience
The best app for using Micro.blog
Better than Micro.blog‘s own app
This app is to Micro.blog what Tweetie was to Twitter back in the day. It feels native to the platform, has lots of lovely little design details, and provides just the right amount of customisation options. It also presents features of the Micro.blog service (such as the discover section, photos and bookshelves) in a really compelling way. All this in the very first release. I can’t wait to see how this app develops over time.

Enjoyable Social Media
Micro Social is tightly integrated into Micro.blog, which has a different take on social media. It doesn’t have an algorithm and avoids being performative by excluding reaction options like Likes or Reposting. Its approach is to encourage human connections through replies and authentic micro-blogging. Micro.blog alone doesn’t provide the best user experience for most people, but that’s where Micro Social steps in. Micro Social addresses the shortcomings of Micro.blog by emphasizing post threads and replies and providing a consolidated media view akin to perusing images on PixelFed and Instagram. It also provides some extra “wow” features like a Books view, which carries over a somewhat hidden feature on Micro.blog and brings it front and center. All these features create one of the most healthy and enjoyable social media platforms I’ve used. If you’re seeking that, then you’ll probably love Micro Social.
