Micromall BMS, what to expect…
I am a very happy solo circumnavigator using Micromall gold series batteries. That said the app is OK, but could use 4 changes that are very simple to do. Just slight changes in code and documentation would make a OK app fabulous.
1. Make the app so it can supply the sum of the charged amps for all the batteries it is reporting on.
2. Make this app so it can be viewed full screen on iPhone or iPad and be able to view it next to other apps (Victron charging products) in IOS split screen
3. Increase the font size on all the battery charge values so they can be read without a magnifying glass.
4. Provide a valid link for 2 things.
1. Documentation
2. Support.
I love my batteries, but the Bluetooth BMS app needs this small amount of work so bad and the support link in the IOS Store posting for this app is broken, and the app has not been updated in 2 years.

Inaccurate
The app does not accurately record the charge status. Rapidly moving from almost zero to 3/4 full with a low current charger. There are no instructions on the few controls you do have. It doesn’t automatically reconnect so it looks likes it connected when it’s not. The features are fairly basic, which is OK if they were reliable and properly explained.
First fix accuracy issues and reconnect issue before adding features though please.
Accuracy of charge status is absolutely critical in off grid applications, which is all these batteries are bought for.

Blank screen
Just a blank screen does even load any can’t connect to battery.

Good basic app but needs updating
The Micromall app is good guys but it would be much better if you could add a few more features and reduce the time it takes to connect to the battery. At the moment it’s far longer than other apps. Has lots of extra info which is great.
Features needed are:
- The ability to change the name or add an extra name for the battery to help identify them for users.
- A time till empty and time to full estimation
