Need OneDrive now
Why do I now need to download OneDrive to keep using Lens? Microsoft is trash
Undefeated
Best scanner app since 2019 to me
Used to be my favorite. Not anymore
The latest version has an extra screen to ask you to use one drive. Very annoying. I am getting rid of the app totally.
Similar screen happens to desktop versions of Office applications. Very bad user experience. They need to fire their software designers.

Security settings break Lens functionality
Integration with OneDrive is awful and I can’t even sign on though the OneDrive app is running on my device. Can’t save to OneDrive, probably due to company policies that expect this integration but fail. Authenticator opens, I enter my email address, the it switches back to lens, where I click on one drive again and repeat the loop.

2026 Why CANCEL app!?
Microsoft, what is the alternative product that has all these scanning features built in? Are you going to add these features to OneNote or OneDrive? Especially the feature to scan handwritten notes and convert them into digital text?
Easy to use
Very convenient to use 👍
Single-Purpose Scanning App I Prefer
Microsoft Lens is a very useful, single-purpose app that I use often. It quickly turns photos into clean, readable scans that I can save as PDF files, and it works well enough that I regularly use it instead of a physical scanner.
What I like most is that it stays focused on the main job. I do not need scanning features buried inside larger apps that require signing in or repeated authentication. I prefer single-purpose tools, and Microsoft Lens fits that preference.
I also appreciate not having to rely on a subscription. For my needs, it provides reliable, straightforward scanning to PDF without adding unnecessary complexity.

Not Happy
Too bad that they decided to retire this app. It’s one of the best to make PDF scans of documents.
Garbage
Constant adverts for OneDrive, app does everything in its power to make it harder to scan a damn page
Import documents with your phone
Throw your scanner in the trashcan! …unless it’s also your printer. We still need a hard copy sometimes or we are no better than the dolphins.
Ya no da opción de PDF
Does not save well
I’ve been using Dropbox for a heck of a long time, but it keeps on wanting me to drop it to some sort of cloud which is far from what I use. No matter what I can find I can’t find a way to get it to dropbox without saving it somewhere, then moving it or copying it somewhere else. If anyone has a way, please try to reach out to me to explain how to take a snapshot and save it right on my dropbox.

Great App
This App is so useful. The images it captured were clear and the bonus is it is free.
Lens vs PDF gear scan
Lens is still tops to capture slides projected during a presentation, in fact rather amazing how well it works
Crashing
Wonderful scanner, but I am having trouble reviewing past scans because Lens continues to crash. Please fix this issue please. Thank you
Lens!
This is the best product I’ve ever used for the scanning of documents and whiteboard markings.
Why retired move to OneDrive
Len to be retired soon move to OneDrive so bad don’t like that way due not enough feature suck please to keep Len app then OneDrive under scan remove to retired
Great app for scanning
I love how this ap connects with Microsoft. I use it for pictures mostly. Too bad it will be unsupported going forward. I wish the pics and scans would pull in the gps coordinates from my iPhone. The last update reduced the picture drawing and text writing. I wish it could go back to how it was before. Used to be able to zoom in on the picture then draw then write. I could pin point exactly what I wanted to draw out. Now you can only draw on it from original size. I told everyone I work with about this app. They all love it for our work. I also love the business card scanner. Please please please continue to support this app. I save everything to one drive.
