Essential for International Travel
Microsoft Translator is a fantastic app and very easy to use. It made communicating in another language simple and stress-free. During my recent business trip to Spain, I used it to translate English to Spanish, and it was incredibly helpful. The translations were quick, accurate, and made everyday conversations much easier. I highly recommend this app to anyone traveling internationally or communicating in different languages.

App does not work well anymore
Microsoft removed the ability to download languages for offline use.
Microsoft did not adapt the app to be visually accessible, especially with an interface that does not allow resizing of fonts in the device’s Zoomed View.
And it misses some gendered nuances, especially in Russian and Middle East languages.

Won’t play through headphones anymore?
The audio only wants to play through my phone speaker which is really annoying for studying, wonder if anyone else is having this issue

Ok, with the update that has taken out the multiple device conversation, where has the single device conversation gone to? For deaf or hard of hearing, this is a necessary app as unfortunately the teams or browser, unlike that of the non iOS op system

It doesn’t realize when translating a convo between two people the mic and speaker for the other person needs to stay on the phone not the headphones. So worthless

Chinese character translation
If you are in China this is not the translation app. If the characters go down the page, the app will translate the words, with the printing space being as wide as the characters. The translation is printed from left to right and not top down. This leads to the app trying to print a potentially long translation in one really small space (the whole phrase in one horizontal line) shrinking the words to try and fit it, making it unreadable or blurry.

Recent update broke translator
All my devices are unable to translate live messages. Keeps stating unable to detect audio but when using other options it works sentence by sentence. Please restore translator using your previous build. Unable to use app.

Worse app ever used
Unable to use it at all. Keep telling me to check my network connection while I was on WiFi. Turn off the WiFi and try to use my phone cellular and still have same error. Unable to use but this is recommended app to use in China. Prepare for my trip but disappointed and frustrated that I can’t use this app

Issue detecting Spanish in Conversation Mode
Having issues since the last update of not working as it used to the spanish detection for different language and keep the conversation going.

No speech feature
Today it can’t hear me. It says it’s listening for English or Spanish. It translates when I speak Spanish, but it just won’t hear me if I speak English. This is a new problem. It used to work.

Since the update it has many error just translates from one language no 2 like it used to be before
Won’t auto play the translated text
When translating a big sentence I have to click the play button every time and if I begin to speak again or if there is any other sound in the room it will overwrite it if I don’t hit the play button fast enough, have the auto play setting on too it’s just unusable until that’s working. Google translate has the same problem.
