No Landscape Really?!
The sound of the different mics is grate and the app is easy to use. I give it three stars because a very simple lack of landscape. Using an iPad Pro most all cases stand the device up in a landscape position. As soon as you switch to the native app in Garage band suddenly everything is on it’s side. For a $20 premium app price I have the expectation of landscape mode.

Pretty Good
First off, there’s no way this app was worth $20 but it is pretty good.
Pros:
-The mics sound good for recording musical ideas.
-Support is on point and replies quickly.
Cons:
-You need headphones. Not just any headphones, but ones without a mic, unless your headphones have a really good mic already it’s a no go. There’s no way to change the input to your phone mic if you have headphones in. You’re going to need them if you don’t want feedback or to pick up the backing track on GB.
-On GarageBand make sure it is entered as an effect and not an instrument when recording or you’re going to get your ears blown out.
-it does freeze up at times.

Very Good, Affordable Mic Modeling
Hey there! Just beginning my foray into the iOS recording ecosystem. I had been looking for a good modeling app since all I have right now is the earbud mic. Let me say, the results I’ve been getting are fantastic! I really wanted to give it 5 stars but I’ve encountered a bit of an inconvenient glitch. When I’m using it as an AUv3 in GarageBand, the mic selection changes when I close the session and reopen. Not a dealbreaker since it only takes a few seconds to go through and change them back but I would really like to be able to print my mixes with confidence. Hopefully, this will be addressed in the upcoming update.

This app makes full use of mic hardware and then some. No joke
Needs landscape mode support
All iPadOS apps these days should support landscape mode for people who use it like a computer (with keyboard and mouse). We don't want to twist our necks just to use the app.
Love this app!
Runs super smooth and solid! I’ve used it with an iRig mic into protools for years now, or just straight into the phone to jot down ideas. It’s one of my most helpful writing tools! The mics are all distinctly unique sounding, the ms-sga is my favorite with a cool old timey narrow frequency sound. It’s helpful to flip through different miscs for inspiration when I'm writing, love this app!

I'm still having trouble haha
I don't seem to exactly comprehend the way to configure this 😂😭😭. I have fun messing with these and try to mess with it sometimes to just cull my anxiety and it normally helps at least give me some boredom relief if not peace of mind ☺️ I love it, I could use some tips and maybe a hand holding until I get it(I take forever to get ahang of things but once I stop over or underthinking I kinda become a beast)

Which microphone or microphones work best for singing?
A much better product than IK multimedia’s Mic Room
The microphone models are much truer to their originals than Mic Room. The U 87 is particularly good.
Crackle
Hello, just purchased the pro version. When I use the app by itself, it seems to record smoothly, but when it’s running through GarageBand or AUM, there’s a bunch of static and cracking. What should I do?

Wondering about sample and bit rates and maybe a VO booth environment (dry).
I’m fortunate to use some of these real mics daily - including the U47. I really appreciate the detail in emulation - but it certainly still helps to get the best capture with as good of a mic as possible to get best results.
I would like to see a recommendation for level settings between the app and a mic interface as well if possible. I don’t feel like I’ve hit the sweet spot yet.

Not what i thought it was
I got this from garage band it would be there continue to edit was was wrong not only that my app keeps crashing and wont let me play audio saved recordings ill be getting my money back not worth $20
It’s great!
Love this app! Use it coupled with Rode Mic me-L and GarageBand. I’ve been using it on actual recordings and dropping into Logic. The models sound very close to mics I’ve used in the past. Get it if you want to add color to your vocals!

Thank you for making a fantastic App. I do give it 5 stars but only have one suggestion for the developer. I have noticed that I am unable to change the room when being used as an AUv3. This is not life or death as IAA works, but this would make it even better when being used as an AUv3.
Granted this could be user error on my end, and is simply a suggestion. Thank you for bringing professional plugins to iOS. iPads are not just toys when it comes to music production and this is a great tool for sound design and mixing etc...
