BAD UPDATE
Been running it for 6 years. now this recent app update has too big of a display for example when i click on my device to chance colors the on off button and back arrow are high up on my phone screen and i am not able to press them. so if i want to turn lights on or off id have to close app and restart. also it keeps saying not logged in but i am. please fix. not acceptable.

Don’t be fooled
These lights are hand down the best lights in the market. Don’t be fooled about what you’re reading with these reviews 90% of it is install error although they are complicated with the C3 pairing sequence all of the other ones pair very easy they offer extensions for the C2 kits. You get what you pay for. I have done over 100 of these and not a single complaint from any of my customers!!!

One thing after another
Got these rock lights as a Christmas present and just tried to install them and they were too short for a SINGLE CAB… also hooked them up to the battery and none of them decided to turn on so I unhooked everything, took them back home hooked them up to another battery and only 4 of the 8 turned on again. The app did not turn them off when the off button was pressed and the only way to turn them off was to delete the app.

Crashes and does not let me login
It worked a few times but now it doesn’t allow me to log in or request a password reset. Login info is entered then an X just shows up on the screen and the app closes.
Bugs
Every time I turn on mic all speakers shut down and only one functions. Also it constantly tries to call my phone and I have to shut down app
Mid
The app works partially, I have an 8 piece Underglow kit and the lights work but the modes part doesn’t show up. I have tried on two different phones. I bought this for the waterfall modes where colors chase eachother but the app doesn’t allow me to do that. It doesn’t even show the option for modes. It’s not like I click on it and it just doesn’t pull up. It isn’t there.

Only thing it needs is a way to control each rock light individually. Or a way to pause the flashing
App constantly crashes
Can’t connect to my lights without the app crashing every time. They need to fix it. Won’t be recommending their products until they do better.
Don’t buy
The app probably is the worst part of it all, even the installation was a cake walk compared to trying to get the app to work
If I could rate this less I would.
The lights are great if you don’t want to control them as they are advertised. One solid color or a pre designed color wheel. I wanted the different solid color on each wheel as advertised. Yet there’s no option for that in the app. The lights connect as 1 light even though I have the 12 pods kit. If there is a solution or something I am missing please let me know.

APP WORKS TO LOAD IN BUT KICKS ME OUT INSTANTLY
I have 4 products and I can’t even use it now cause the app became useless… I can’t even change my lights or do anything… everything I click my rock lights, interior lights or the Wheel Ring lights, kicks me out instantly, PLEASE FIX… how can you make good products but have a weird app…

This app is terrible, there is always something wrong and not working.. wish I would have bought a different set of light now..
TOTAL TRASH
This app is the biggest pain in the butt ever! First off you don’t get all the color settings, it also decides to change them and the pattern on its own or just pick one shade to stay on or how fast it transitions.
Also it will make listening to music using Bluetooth impossible. I couldn’t get my radio to unpause once I turned the lights on. If I am unable to swipe the app clear off the screen(close the app) get the music to unpause it sounds awful! It sounds like it’s out of a phone speaker!! Total quality change! I have to turn my radio off and back on and reconnect to it before I can get it to work. But if I even click the light app FORGET IT!! Your music is gone again! Good luck getting it to play. I would have never bought these lights if I read the reviews for the app! I left a review on Amazon to warn others.

DO NOT BUY
the app is horrible and doesn’t work. you can’t access the app to use the lights and it disconnects your phone causing issues with it connect back to radio. i do not recommend buying these. very disappointed
This brand is pretty much a joke.
The app is literal aids to use, and when you do get your controller to connect it just disconnects right after. I just bought a brand new 8 pod controller from them, it shows up busted. I can’t connect to the controller they sent. And their business hours are weird as well and even if you call them there never an answer just some automated voice saying they are powered off the moment 10/10 would NOT recommend

Rock lights
Rock lights are connected via Bluetooth to be able to control the lights. Bluetooth connection cancels FM radio in truck and cannot play blue tooth music to radio. Pointless to drive around with lights on and no music!
App doesn’t work correctly
Hello. When I open the app and connect to the device, I can not change the color. Once I select that device the app closes. Please help.

RGBW C1 Rock Lights and app don’t communicate
I have run mictuning rock loghts for years, always enjoyed the quality and how well they function… just installed a set after not having them for almost 3 years, and now the app doesnt work. Every time i go to open it, click on the C1 rocklight set, it crashes my app. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, unpairing and repairing to the control box. Yall need to fix this. If it consists, i will be throwing it all away and finding a different company. Yall cant be the only ones with a true RGBW Rock light anymore.

Something's wrong with App
I just installed rock and wheel lights on my 2018 Ram 2500 and the app messes with my audio. If I change colors, my display thinks that I'm making a phone call and stops my music... additionally, the scariest part is that it locks my display on. I turned truck off, opened door and got out, shut door and locked truck..... display wouldn't turn off until I cranked up truck, deleted app and shut it back off. I feel like the MicTuning app is gonna hurt the truck. It's crappy because the lights depend on the app to control lights. So, I'm just going to set the lights to white and not change them until they update the app.
