Impossible to Connect
I try to review every app, book, or product that I use. I do that because I rely heavily on reviews before making purchases. I made a huge mistake by not reading the reviews for this app before downloading it.
Of the plethora of reviews I have written, this is the first time I have ever written a negative review. Normally, if I’m not satisfied with an app, I just delete it, but I don’t write a negative review. I should do that more often because people need to know before they download something if it’s garbage and that’s what this app is pure garbage.
GARBAGE — COMPLETELY UNWORTHY OF YOUR TIME OR EFFORT.
You cannot connect to this app without logging in through your Facebook account. I hate having to login through my Facebook account. I made an exception with this app and decided I would login with my Facebook account because I liked the sound of what the app had to offer.
Unfortunately, it tells me that Facebook does not support this app so the app has just been sitting in my phone taking up storage until today when I delete it.
Do not under any circumstances download or purchase this app. It is misleading and it does nothing. It is COMPLETELY USELESS!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t use a lot of social media it’s kinda bull that I have to make a Facebook account just to use it and it’s only Facebook not twitter or gmail or instagram not even a phone number so you should really add some new ways to use the app not just Facebook
I like this writing app - needs an update
I have been using mic writer for over a year and I have had no issues. I actually use it to type what I’m writing, but do opt for the mic for some notes. There are three things I would love to have updated:
1) An option to make the background darker for when I’m trying to write at night and don’t want to light up the whole room and keep my partner awake. Something like “night mode”.
2) The ‘share’ button next to each project is scary. Once tapped, on purpose or otherwise, the next pop let’s you select the place you’d like posted. I often This this combo by mistake, and have shared text on accident. It would be nice to have Touch ID confirm before posting so it’s more controlled.
3) The last thing is if you try to close mic writer without saving it asks if you’re sure. But if you hit your home button and swipe mic writer up by mistake, you’ll lose any unsaved changes. I wish there was a way to auto save in those cases. Perhaps this is a phone feature failure, not necessarily the app.
Anyway, thanks for a great year of writing! I like this app.
