It’s fine, not great for..

It’s got a lot of info, but it’s not great for what I want to do. I want to track all paths of the characters from lord of the rings at once. Not separately. All at the same time. Shouldn’t be hard, but the buttons and stuff that you’d think would lead to various peoples routes are not clickable, and you seemingly can’t compare between the different paths. It might be semi-useful for some things, but largely, it’s a lot of information I didn’t ask for and not the info I did ask for. At least not in a clean and digestible way.

Good reference for LOTR fans

I am actually a big fan of Tolkien and his works on Middle Earth, and I’ve been looking for a reference app like this for a while now. It looks pretty high quality, but my only problems are that many of the locations don’t quite line up with the map used, and I think too that the timelines included would make more sense if their events were listed in chronological order. Other than that, it’s a really great app for Tolkien fans like myself, though I do have some extra ideas that I think would make this app even more interesting. I would like to see events, and maybe even maps, from different ages, such as a map of Belariand in the First Age, or maybe some events from earlier in the Third Age or the Second Age; maybe the visibility of these events could be toggled so that those who want to see them can. Otherwise, this is a really interesting app!
