Facial recognition is broken
Can’t sign in with biometrics. Have to use login credentials every time. Fine I guess otherwise.
Can’t login
I’m extremely frustrated with this app. Due to ongoing errors, I haven’t been able to sign in at all. I’ve reset my password multiple times, and it still doesn’t work. Why is this happening?
This is 2026—basic functionality like logging in should not be this broken. It feels like there are serious issues with the app’s development and maintenance. Please address this urgently, because users deserve a product that actually works.

What happened to Pending transactions?
No longer show up at all. I just got a text alert and went to check and the thing I by it an alert about isn’t there. I’m guessing it’s pending but there isn’t a pending section now so I can’t check it.
Not allowing for principle payment
The app doesn’t allow me to select to pay on the principle of the mortgage anymore. Last year, when I was able to, it never alerted the staff and they had to call me every month to confirm.
Face ID
If anyone is having the biometric Face ID issue, just go into settings and turn Face ID on. Fixed it for me. Other than that app is great.
Trash app
For the love of god fix your god awful app, sick of having to enter my password every time because yall “detected a change in biometrics” except there IS NO CHANGE, FIX YOUR APP BEFORE I SWITCH BANKS, IM SICK OF YALL RUNNING THE PLACE LIKE ITS 1996

Doesn’t Work
Entire App has had a 404 error since November 30, 2025. I reached out to MidFlorida that day and on December 1, 2025, MidFlorida informed me of a known total system outage. Guess MidFlorida doesn’t want its customers to have access to their money in an app anymore.
Mobile deposit
Trying to make a mobile deposit but the camera won’t work with the app, you guys really need a new developer, thats a bare minimum to have working in a banking app

If you can’t login by the Face ID, once you login the app, go to settings and enable Face ID and then it will work.
Why cannot pay back loan with DEBIT CARD?
Nonsense because they have no option to pay the loan with external bank debit card, and when link my external bank accounts I still can't pay. Why?

Update: as of August 2025.
Update: the APP no long works. When I try to log on it has a screen comes up and says the biometrics of the app has changed and it tells me to log out and see if that helps. But I’m not logged into the app. I delete the app and try to reinstall and it continues to do it. App doesn’t work and is useless if they are wanting to do anything to get it working.
MID FLORIDA doesn’t always mail me my bill for my car loan. This has almost caused me to be late with my bill. I have since downloaded the app, but have found I cannot print or email the statements so that I can write a check and send the payments in. I do not like online bill pay because I have had many times where multiple payments have been taken out and put be in a delinquent state causing over draft fees. I would rather mail my bill in. Please make the app easier to handle these or have MIDFLORIDA mail out statements on time monthly.

Unusable app
Basic App functionality is so bad that I’ll be immediately moving my mortgage to a real bank with an actual user interface. Part of a banking experience is the simplicity of making basic movements and transactions, which is absent here.
App needs an update
The app needs a lot of polishing. It’s very delayed and unresponsive with certain buttons.
Terrible app
Coming from Michigan and banking with 53 I went from one of the industries best banking apps to the worst it seems. Transfers using the app can take up to 10 business days to clear and the app needs to be restarted virtually every time I use it due to login issues. After restart it logs in correctly. There isn’t a 53 anywhere near me now but I will be transitioning back since it’s such a much better experience than MidFl. Remote banking is so easy with 53.

App is Seriously Lacking!
I’ve had this app on two iPhones now in the past year and the app does not fit the screen. I do all of the updates and about 1 out of every 25 times it works correctly. Very frustrating and disappointing!
